Strategically located in RMZ Milenia Business Park, Perungudi, one of the city's premier IT corridors, the new facility is designed to accommodate 500 professionals and is complemented by an additional 300-seat center in Guindy, established through GlobalLogic’s integration with Mobiveil, acquired in December 2023. Together, these centers will enhance GlobalLogic’s capacity to collaborate with global telecom clients, accelerate delivery timelines, and scale AI-first engineering capabilities.

With over 800 employees currently based in Chennai, GlobalLogic plans to increase this number by 20% by the end of 2025, bringing the local headcount to over 1000. This growth contributes to the company’s broader ambition of reaching a 20,000-strong workforce in India and a global headcount of 35,000.

The deal will be signed in San Francisco on Friday morning in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister (CM) M K Stalin, who is on a 17-day trip to the US to attract fresh investments.

This project is expected to create around 100 specialized jobs and will be located at the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu in Siruseri.

The testbed will facilitate the development of next-generation network technologies, such as 10G, 25G, 50G, and 100G passive optical networks. This can lead to advancements in network speed, reliability, and efficiency.

Among them are the women conservancy and waste management workers who work tirelessly every day to keep our cities clean. This International Women’s Day, Re Sustainability Limited (ReSL) is raising the bar by celebrating and highlighting the story of an all-women conservancy team in the Manali zone of Chennai through a special campaign: #SheLeadsthechange.

This all-women conservancy and waste management team in Manali, Chennai is comprised of 400 women who serve as sanitation workers, waste collectors, supervisors, waste collection vehicle drivers, composting team members, and managers at various levels. This team serves 27,000 households in their Zone every day. While it's common to see women waste collectors, at times even in uniforms, it's rare to see an entire Municipal Zone, where women are in charge, across all levels and functions. What's even more impressive is that the Manali all-women team utilizes the most advanced technology to manage municipal solid waste. Thus, on any given day in Manali, one can witness women operating technically advanced vehicles and scientifically collecting segregated waste.

The new center in Chennai has a headcount of 170 top professionals, with plans to expand to 500 in the next two years.
