Adobe Brings Google’s Gemini 3 (Nano Banana Pro) Into Firefly & Photoshop, Expanding Creative AI Choice

At Adobe, we’re committed to being the best place to help you realize your creative vision by bringing the industry’s top models, including our recently announced Firefly Image Model 5, into our apps as soon as they launch. This means you benefit from choice and flexibility to use the best model for any creative task, paired with our powerful editing tools.

Today, we’re delivering on that promise again by integrating Google’s latest image model, Gemini 3 (with Nano Banana Pro) into Adobe Firefly and Photoshop. It joins a growing lineup of partner models across image, video, and audio to choose from in our apps, including those from Black Forest Labs, ElevenLabs, Google, Ideogram, Luma AI, Moonvalley, OpenAI, Pika, Runway and Topaz Labs.

The world of AI models — each with its own strengths and personality — is growing fast. And creators tell us that they use different models for different tasks. In our recent global study of 16,000+ creators, more than 60 percent said they use multiple creative AI models to match the right tool to the right task.

So we’re making it easier to work the way you want, right inside our apps. By pairing breakthrough models with Adobe’s industry-leading tools, we’re empowering you to combine high-quality generations with the precision and control of our tools, so you can create exactly what you envision. No more chasing new model releases on your own, juggling disconnected tools, or paying for multiple subscriptions. Everything you need is already right inside the Adobe apps where you do your best creative work.

Unlimited generations through December 1: To help you start creating with Nano Banana Pro, we’re offering unlimited image generations with Firefly image models and partner models in the Firefly app until December 1 (available to Creative Cloud Pro and Firefly plan subscribers).

The latest pro-grade image model in Adobe Firefly and Photoshop

We’ve been inspired by the incredible work our community created using Gemini Flash Image 2.5 (Nano Banana) in our apps. Google’s latest Nano Banana Pro model delivers significant improvements in editing quality, allowing you to use text prompts to refine specific parts of an image, adjust aspect ratios, boost resolution, and even shift camera angles and lighting.

It also excels at generating clean, well-integrated text inside images and can localize visuals with translated text. And by drawing on Google Search’s knowledge base, the model can generate factually accurate visuals. Its pro-grade capabilities make it a great complementary model in our creative apps.

In Firefly, creators can upload up to six reference images and prompt Nano Banana Pro via text to merge and refine those elements into a cohesive image, with clean, integrated text.

Create with Nano Banana Pro in Firefly and Firefly Boards

In Firefly Boards, creative professionals can use Nano Banana Pro to develop campaign concepts by uploading texts, images, and icons and prompting it to visualize them in real-world contexts — such as a billboard in a New York city street — for client review.

In Adobe Firefly, our all-in-one creative AI studio for ideation, creation, and production across video, image, audio, creators can use Nano Banana Pro in our Text to Image feature. The model is also available in Firefly Boards, our AI-powered collaborative moodboarding surface, where creators and creative professionals can brainstorm, organize ideas and visualize early-stage concepts together.

Generative Fill in Photoshop, now powered by Nano Banana Pro

In Photoshop, Nano Banana Pro is the newest model powering Generative Fill, giving creative professionals fast, prompt-based ways to make specific edits, generate more realistic high-resolution content, and explore creative variations.

It follows our recent addition of Google’s Nano Banana and Black Forest Labs’ FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] — the first set of partner models we integrated into Photoshop earlier this year to power Generative Fill. With Firefly and partner models in Photoshop, creative professionals can move seamlessly from generative experimentation to refining results using layers, masks, and selections for pixel-perfect editing, all without breaking their workflow.

With Nano Banana Pro powering Generative Fill in Photoshop, creative professionals can use text prompts to adjust the lighting of an image, like turning day into night.

Adobe’s $3 Billion Play for Synthesia: AI Video’s Next Frontier?

Adobe’s $3 Billion Play for Synthesia: AI Video’s Next Frontier?

Adobe has been aggressively integrating generative AI across its suite (e.g., Firefly for images). In a latest and a bold move that could have reshaped the future of creative software, Adobe recently explored acquiring London-based AI video startup Synthesia for a reported $3 billion. The deal, however, collapsed over valuation disagreements—leaving the industry buzzing about what might have been, and what’s next.

Adobe reportedly offered ~$3 billion, but Synthesia’s January valuation was $2.1 billion. Despite Adobe’s $100M investment in April, the final terms couldn’t be agreed upon. The first media outlet to report Adobe’s attempted $3 billion acquisition of Synthesia was The Information. Their coverage was later cited by other outlets including Sifted, GuruFocus, and Veritas News.

Notably, Meta also held early talks with Synthesia, suggesting broader interest in avatar-based video tech but those discussions didn’t progress.

What Makes Synthesia So Valuable?

  • Core Tech: Synthesia lets users create lifelike video avatars from text—no cameras or actors needed.
  • Use Cases: Ideal for corporate training, marketing, and multilingual content at scale.
  • Enterprise Appeal: Trusted by global companies for fast, professional-grade video creation.

Why Adobe Wanted In

  • Creative Cloud Expansion: Synthesia would have added AI-native video to Adobe’s suite.
  • AI Push: Complements Adobe Firefly’s image generation with avatar-driven video tools.
  • Enterprise Synergy: Aligns with Adobe’s ambitions in e-learning and marketing automation.

The Deal That Didn’t Close

  • Valuation Gap: Adobe’s offer exceeded Synthesia’s $2.1B valuation, but terms couldn’t be finalized.
  • Strategic Tensions: Despite Adobe’s $100M investment, the acquisition stalled.
  • Meta’s Interest: Meta also held early talks, but they didn’t progress.

What This Signals for the Industry

  • Adobe: May build its own AI video tools or pursue other startups.
  • Synthesia: Could remain independent or seek new strategic partners.
  • Industry Trend: Generative video is heating up as demand for scalable content grows.

Final Take

This near-acquisition wasn’t just about one company—it was a glimpse into the future of creative work. As AI continues to blur the lines between imagination and execution, the race to own the next-gen creative stack is officially on.

Adobe GenStudio will enable our teams to produce high-quality, personalized assets faster and more efficiently, unlocking new levels of productivity and creative impact across the marketing organization.”

Achieving personalization at scale is a major growth lever for businesses, but inefficient content supply chains often slow down an organization’s ability to customize experiences across audiences,” said Varun Parmar, general manager, Adobe GenStudio and Firefly Enterprise. “Adobe GenStudio uniquely brings together AI, creativity and marketing solutions for Qualcomm to overcome these roadblocks, dramatically increasing output while maintaining a high bar for quality.”

Qualcomm is leveraging applications within Adobe GenStudio including:

Qualcomm Taps Adobe GenStudio to Optimize Content Supply Chain with Generative AI

Adobe GenStudio for Performance Marketing: Effectively scaling content creation with generative AI requires that every new asset is on-brand, high-quality and backed with performance insights for teams to optimize creative. This is enabled through GenStudio for Performance Marketing, a generative AI-first application that Qualcomm will use to create, resize and translate content for different marketing channels. Marketers can quickly create compelling image and video assets, anchored in brand guidelines defined by their creative counterparts. Additionally, attribute-level performance insights enable teams to adjust creative elements based on target KPIs.

Adobe Express: Across the Qualcomm marketing organization, Express will act as a self-service tool that allows teams to create and customize assets on the fly. It complements Adobe GenStudio for Performance Marketing, with approved brand guidelines (templates, colors, fonts) that give more individuals the confidence to produce content for their channels. It will enable the social and regional teams, for instance, to quickly create assets for time-sensitive campaigns.

Adobe Firefly: Qualcomm is piloting use cases with Firefly—a commercially safe family of AI models—to meet the rising demand for content across digital channels. This includes training Firefly on existing IP, enabling teams to confidently generate on-brand imagery for marketing assets while also maintaining creative control.

For digital channels such as the website, teams can use simple text prompts to test different creative and messaging across target personas.

These new applications extend the value of Qualcomm’s existing Adobe investment. Content creation workflows are anchored in Adobe Workfront for instance, the work management application that streamlines the process of planning, assigning and executing work across marketing and creative teams. And with Marketo—the leading marketing automation platform—teams can pull in insights to align content experiences with customer behaviors and drive better targeting. By partnering with Adobe to optimize its content supply chain, Qualcomm is demonstrating how marketers can drive the business forward in today’s crowded, attention-based economy.

Adobe Premiere Pro 25.5 Launches with 90+ New Effects, Motion Tools, and Major Timeline Upgrades

Premiere Pro is about to get a major boost with new motion capabilities, massive updates for audio editing and timeline playback, and a bunch of additional improvements that just make life better for editors.

When you’re deep in an edit, the right effect or transition can make all the difference, turning a good cut into something unforgettable. Starting September 12 — just in time for IBC 2025 — we’re putting those creative tools front and center in Premiere Pro 25.5, introducing more than 90 new, modern effects, transitions and animations, all included in your plan. These tools are powered by Adobe’s recent acquisition of Film Impact, whose high-value library is now seamlessly built into Premiere Pro. No need for a separate plug-in or subscription — we’ve got you covered. This is just the beginning of new effects workflows coming to Premiere Pro, and we can't wait to show you what's next.

And because we’ve been listening closely to your feedback — every “I wish it could…” and “what if it just…” — we’ve paired all these new motion capabilities with quality-of-life upgrades that cut steps, smooth bumps, and keep you in your creative flow. More responsive timeline playback, beautifully dynamic visual waveforms, and smoother, GPU-accelerated editing keep you in the zone from start to finish. Plus, we’re bringing more quality-of-life improvements to After Effects, too.

This release is by editors, for editors — built to spark your imagination, remove friction, and give you more time to focus on what matters most: telling great stories.

Take your transitions to the next level

Elevate your edits with modern transitions, cinematic effects, and stunning text and graphic animations designed for pro editors. You can use every transition, effect, and animation in a gorgeous default state, or adjust and customize every parameter from scratch for complete creative control — from glowing highlights to dynamic glitches and everything in between.

They’re all GPU-accelerated, playing back in real time as soon as you drag and drop. And they’ll keep on playing back in real time no matter how many tweaks you make. No more red render bars.

Over a dozen new transitions and effects playing back on a social cutdown.

These transitions redefine the classics. The dozens of new dissolves, blurs, and wipes now included in Premiere Pro are smooth, rich, and elegant. When you’re looking for something a little rougher around the edges, you can add attitude with earthquake, glitch, distortion, VHS damage, and chaos transitions. Looking for something a little more wild? Try kaleidoscope — trust us. You even have a new collection of captivating 3D transitions that add depth to your videos.

The new kaleidoscope transition playing back with light leaks.

Upgrade your color grading

One of the most important parts of color grading is evolving the look of your video with atmospheric textures, and the new library of effects in Premiere Pro helps you take your visuals to the next level faster than ever. The collection of glows, blurs, and echoes help you add photorealistic bokeh, volumetric rays, glowing halation, and dazzling glints to your clips. Apply vignettes that warp to any shape you desire. Independently shift red, green, and blue channels to color correct for fluorescent lighting. We’ve got curve editors, color pickers, chromatic aberration, custom blend modes, and so much more — everything you need to drag, drop, and animate. Even add a camera shake effect so realistic you’ll swear your tripod shots were captured on someone’s shoulder.

Adding camera shake to a locked tripod shot.

Animating text, video, and graphics is now as fun and easy as dragging and dropping a transition. If you’re not a professional motion designer, you can save hours of round-tripping to After Effects by keeping your motion work inside of Premiere Pro. Make static graphics move in seconds with motion transitions that grow, pop, wiggle, and sweep light across your titles. Skip the tedious keyframing and turn static 2D text into a 3D animated motion graphic with shadows, depth, and realism in seconds. Or clone a logo with built-in animations, creating motion graphics in seconds that look like they took hours to create.

Creating motion designs in Premiere Pro with only two .PNG files.

One of the most powerful features included in every new transition, effect, and animation is the “Surprise Me” button. With just one click, you can preview endless variations of your effect or transition for ideating outside of the box and stretching your imagination.

With the 90+ transitions, effects, and animations, limitless customization, and the “Surprise Me” button, your effects can look completely unique for every edit you take on.

You can access all 90+ transitions, effects, and animations in the Effects panel, or navigate to the Window menu and select “Film Impact Dashboard” in the Extensions menu for an interactive panel with live previews of every tool.

Snappier timeline and smoother editing with GPU-acceleration

As an editor, you spend most of your day in the timeline. That’s why we’ve continued to overhaul it under the hood to improve interactivity, visibility, and speed.

Since the launch of Premiere Pro, dragging a clip on the timeline meant moving around an empty rectangle. If you wanted to see how an edit would impact the audio, you’d have to eyeball it and guess until you got the result you wanted. We know all that extra clicking really adds up, so we’ve revamped the sequence: Now audio waveforms remain visible when dragging a clip or performing common edit tasks, like ripple/roll edits or rate stretch.

Plus, keyframes and markers are displayed alongside the waveform while dragging a clip too, helping you maintain sync with key audio or visual elements.

Last year, we added new visual fade handles, which many editors love. But we heard you: Now you can add or adjust multiple fades at the same time. Just select all the clips at once and fade (or cross-fade) away!

All these visual updates, along with multithreaded audio conform and peak file generation to speed up waveform generation, make editing audio in your timeline in Premiere Pro smoother than ever.

But we haven’t just been focused on waveforms. In the last few releases, we’ve worked on scrolling, skimming, and UI refresh rate — and now we’re focusing on overall playback. Because when you want to watch your edit, you shouldn’t have to wait.

Let’s get nerdy for a moment. We’re working toward (and measuring for) a specific goal: less than a tenth of a second to start playback — for every Premiere Pro user. That means barely perceiving the wait between hitting play and watching frames begin to move. We’ve already made a ton of progress here, and you can expect to see even more work on playback speed soon.

And when it comes to format support and playback, things have never been smoother:
  • New hardware acceleration of 10-bit 4:2:2 media in both H.264 and HEVC codecs on NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs provides great performance for formats that combine small file size and great quality.
  • Hardware acceleration of Canon Cinema RAW Light makes for smoother playback and up to 10x faster export.
  • New support for ARRIRAW HDE (High Density Encoding) enables playback of ARRIRAW that is 60 percent of the original file size.
Sometimes, the little things matter most:
  • On top of delivering major features that impact your day-to-day quality of life, we’re also working on small-but-mighty workflow enhancements that can make a difference.
  • You asked for a preference to set the default font for text and captions — you got it! No more Minion Pro.
  • Work from the keyboard even faster with new shortcuts for toggling track mute and solo based on track targeting.
  • Don’t you hate it when you try to add a keyframe to the last frame of a clip in the Effect Controls panel and it jumps to the beginning of the next clip? Fixed that too!

Working with higher end color and finishing workflows? Now you can import 16-bit PNG files. Plus, we’ve improved the data range and color metadata handling for PNG, DNxHR, and DNxHD.

Organization is everything, so use new Sequence Color Tabs to add some visual guidance to your workflow.

And in case you missed it, we completely rewrote support for MKV.

Great new features in After Effects, too

Just like Premiere Pro, After Effects 25.5 delivers a big basket of the features and improvements that matter most to professional motion designers.

In After Effects 25.5, we’re introducing Quick Offset. It’s a nifty tool that allows you to highlight and shift the positions of multiple keyframes or layers with one simple click-and-drag. No matter how simple or complex your comp is, you can adjust the temporal relationships between layers or keyframes faster than ever before. No more clicking and shifting one layer at a time (a real bonus when you have dozens of them!).

Quick Offset in After Effects helps you animate dozens of layers faster than ever.

Zooming in close and magnifying your comp for detailed work is something motion designers do every day. As soon as you update, you’ll notice significantly smoother zooming and navigation inside your comp viewer. It makes pixel-tweaking and fine-tuning that much easier. You’ll also notice caching improvements for even faster preview and playback.

Today, Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) extended its leadership in creative ideation with a major expansion of Adobe Firefly – the destination for AI-assisted content ideation, creation and production – bringing Firefly image and video generation to phones. Firefly’s new iOS and Android app, available today, gives creators the freedom to explore ideas and generate and edit images and videos from anywhere using AI. Firefly's web and mobile apps serve creators’ ideation as a standalone experience and seamlessly sync with Adobe’s Creative Cloud applications to enable project continuity and streamline creative workflows from ideation to production. Firefly Boards, available in public beta on the web, transforms how creative teams ideate and collaborate on concepts with the addition of video to its AI-first moodboarding surface, enabling creative professionals to collaboratively explore and iterate across media types with AI-powered video and image editing. Adobe’s expanding ecosystem of generative AI models now includes models from Ideogram, Luma AI, Pika and Runway along with image and video models from OpenAI, Google and Black Forest Labs, offering creators unparalleled flexibility to experiment in different aesthetic styles.

The Firefly app empowers creators to generate assets across different media types and explore with different AI models from a single destination with unmatched creative control, iterate and collaborate on concepts and seamlessly deliver them into production. For example, creators can generate an image in the style or composition of an uploaded reference image using Style Reference and Structure Reference, edit assets by expanding images and using a brush to remove objects or paint in new ones with Generative Expand, Generative Remove and Generative Fill, experiment with different variations of their creation by mixing and matching models and transform generated images into a video – all without leaving Firefly. They can generate images based on a 3D scene with Scene to Image (beta), generate fully editable vector- based artwork and design templates with simple text prompts written in everyday language and create text effects – and later this month they’ll be able to generate avatars and sound effects from text prompts and sync audio and video clips using the sound of their voice.

“Creators continue to impress us with the breadth and artistry of the images, videos, graphics and designs they’re dreaming up in the Firefly app using models from both Adobe and our partners,” said Ely Greenfield, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. “Our goal with Firefly is to deliver creators the most comprehensive destination on web and mobile to access the best generative models from across the industry, in a single integrated experience from ideation to generation and editing.”

New Firefly Mobile App Now Available on iOS and Android

With Firefly mobile, creators have the freedom to easily generate images and videos from anywhere using text prompts (Text to Image, Text to Video), transform images into videos (Image to Video), add or remove objects like people or unsightly road signs from their work (Generative Fill) and extend the size of an image while filling in new areas with AI- generated content (Generative Expand). Creators can explore concepts with Adobe’s Firefly family of generative AI models, OpenAI’s image generation and Google’s Imagen 3 and 4 and Veo 2 and 3. Content created in Firefly is automatically synced with their Creative Cloud account, making it easy to start a project on the mobile app and continue on the web or in desktop apps like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Firefly adds to Adobe’s growing ecosystem of mobile apps, which includes Photoshop, Lightroom and Adobe Express. Drawing upon the same underlying technology that powers Adobe’s world-class desktop apps, these apps let creators produce pro-caliber content on the go that’s ready for use in social content, presentations, printed assets and more.

Firefly Boards: AI-First Moodboarding Advances Collaborative Ideation for Creative Teams

Firefly Boards, available in public beta, is an entirely new way for creative teams to explore ideas and collaborate on hundreds of concepts at the same time using multiple forms of media. With the addition of video to Firefly Boards’ AI- powered moodboarding surface, creative professionals can now remix uploaded video clips and generate new video footage using Adobe’s commercially safe Firefly Video Model or with Google’s Veo 3, Luma AI’s Ray2 and Pika 2.2 text-to- video.

In addition to generating images using Firefly models and partners’ models, creative teams can also use AI capabilities in Firefly Boards to make iterative edits to images from conversational text prompts using Black Forest Labs’ Flux.1 Kontext and OpenAI’s image generation capabilities.

With today’s additions, creators now have the flexibility to also choose from Flux.1 Kontext by Black Forest Labs, Ideogram 3.0 by Ideogram, Ray2 by Luma AI, 2.2 text-to-video from Pika, and Gen-4 Image by Runway, and Google’s latest Imagen 4 and Veo 3 models. These models are available alongside Adobe’s comprehensive family of Firefly models for images, videos, audio and vectors.

AI Transparency and Creative Rights with Content Credentials

To ensure transparency and protect creators’ rights, Firefly automatically attaches Content Credentials to AI-generated content, clearly indicating whether Adobe Firefly models or partner models were used. This empowers creators with more tools and choices to ideate, collaborate, and produce high-quality content seamlessly and with confidence. At Adobe, we take the most creator-friendly approach to AI in the industry, driven by our roots in the creative community and our respect for creators. For more information on our approach, visit: https://www.adobe.com/ai/overview/firefly/gen-ai- approach.html

Adobe Expands AI Agentic Offerings, Adds New Agent Capabilities in Adobe Experience Platform

Adobe Expands AI Agentic Offerings, Adds New Agent Capabilities in Adobe Experience Platform
  • Adobe unveiled Product Support Agent, a new AI Agent in Adobe Experience Platform which helps marketers and experience teams resolve issues impacting marketing workflows
  • Product Support Agent is the latest addition to Adobe’s suite of purpose-built AI Agents; it joins the now generally available Data Insights Agent, which simplifies the process of deriving insights from customer data in Customer Journey Analytics
  • Product Support Agent and Data Insights Agent are powered by Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Agent Orchestrator, which allows businesses to build, manage, and orchestrate AI agents across Adobe and third-party ecosystems

Today, Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) announced several updates to Adobe’s agentic functionality, including Product Support Agent, a net-new agent which provides an interactive, and guided way for marketers and customer experience professionals to diagnosis and resolve issues impacting marketing workflows in Adobe Experience Platform applications. As part of this expansion, Adobe is also announcing the general availability of Data Insights Agent, the first agent built on the Adobe Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator, which provides the foundation for businesses to orchestrate purpose-built AI agents that engage directly with customers and support the daily work across Adobe applications and third-party ecosystems.

Product Support Agent is designed to support marketing and customer experience teams in their Adobe Experience Platform applications by providing an interactive way to troubleshoot, diagnose, and escalate issues. Too often, marketers experience operational roadblocks that can interrupt workflows and pull their focus away from strategic, high-impact work. Troubleshooting application issues and managing support tickets, can be time-consuming and distract from core responsibilities as they often involve cross-functional inputs and collaboration, and can mean tracking down fixes that require navigating complex workflows and technical documentation, distracting them from core responsibilities. By delivering in-the-moment troubleshooting guidance and case management, Product Support Agent enables faster resolutions and greater operational efficiency.

As soon as a user asks for help with creating a support ticket within the AI Assistant conversational interface, the Product Support Agent gathers relevant contextual data from the environment automatically—logs, metadata, user session details, and more—and accurately pre-fills the support case, which the user can review before submitting. This ensures critical information is captured from the start and enables the agent to handle triage-level tasks like ticket categorization, prioritization, and context gathering, so support teams can begin working on the issue earlier with no delays.

Users can also get real-time status updates for of any open ticket directly through the same AI Assistant interface, without switching tools or logging into separate portals. Product Support Agent will soon be able to provide proactive notifications whenever there’s a change in case status. This reduces follow-ups and means support case requesters can be alerted as soon as there’s progress, allowing them to communicate confidently with stakeholders and stay in control of the support experience.

As part of this expansion, we are also announcing the general availability of Data Insights Agent, the first agent built on the Adobe Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator. Data Insights Agent allows users to query data directly using natural language, just simple questions like “What channels drove the most conversions last week?” and in an instant the Data Insights agent builds the visualization in the Analysis Workspace within Adobe Customer Journey Analysis.

Data Insights Agent not only simplifies insight generation for marketers by allowing them to query their data in natural language and generate visualizations from scratch, but also lets you make changes to previously built visualizations and build analysis iteratively.

“Adobe’s Data Insights Agent will be a major unlock for our organization, shortening the time it takes to find and deliver actionable insights,” said Lokesh Alluri, digital and marketing analytics manager, Lenovo. “By streamlining time-intensive workflows, from reporting to forecasting, we can ensure that every stakeholder has timely data to drive initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction.”

Experience Platform Agents are built for a new era of work where AI is powering creativity and marketing execution to help teams move faster, work smarter, and stay in control. Agentic AI will never replace human expertise, but it can certainly work alongside experts to help create more capacity so they can focus on creative solutions that will drive greater business impact than ever before.

AI Agents in Creative Cloud

Adobe believes AI agents will be powerful and productive tools for creative professionals similar to how generative AI assists them today. The company recently shared its vision for agentic AI and is working to bring creative professionals tools that can use natural language to access more than 1,000 one-click actions in Photoshop, help them learn new features and handle repetitive tasks with the creator in control and in the driver’s seat.

Photoshop’s new reimagined Actions panel (beta) offers smart suggestions to creators that can inspire them to try out various creative directions and help them choose a series of multi-step edits to undertake. The Actions panel enables them to enact these edits with a single click. It is the foundation of what will become Photoshop’s first creative AI agent.

Adobe has also laid the foundation for agentic professional video workflows in Premiere Pro with Media Intelligence, which understands the content clips, automatically recognizing objects and the visual composition of shots in every frame. Adobe is also planning to bring agentic AI to Adobe Express, transforming it into a creative partner that helps users of all skill levels quickly and intuitively create standout visual content and bring ideas to life with ease.

Supporting the Creative Community

As it showcased its latest innovations, Adobe invited the creative community to participate in a new Creative Apprenticeship initiative, aimed at helping the next generation of creators establish themselves in their careers. Adobe has recruited hundreds of mentors and employers to the initiative, which provides participants with hands-on learning opportunities, mentorship and real-world experience.

Adobe also announced new protections for creators to help ensure they receive credit for their work and to protect it from misuse and misrepresentation. The launch of the Adobe Content Authenticity app, now in public beta, offers a free tool to let creators choose which information is attached to their work via Content Credentials. It includes verified identity (powered by Verified on LinkedIn and social media accounts. Creators can include a tag in their Content Credentials to state they don’t want generative AI models to train on their work.

Adobe takes the most creator-friendly approach to AI in the industry. It views AI as a tool for, not a replacement of, human creativity and believes that generative AI can be developed responsibly, starting with respect for creators’ rights. Creators Gain Digital Signature Tool as Adobe Debuts New App

Creators Gain Digital Signature Tool as Adobe Debuts New App

Creators have always deserved proper attribution for the powerful digital work they create. Their creations shape culture, drive engagement and fuel industries. But in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, especially with the rise of generative AI, creators need a modern solution that’s tailored to the realities of this digital ecosystem. They need a tool that secures attribution, while supporting greater transparency, accountability and protection.

At MAX London, Adobe launched the public beta of Adobe Content Authenticity, a free app that allows creators to easily apply Content Credentials to their digital work. Content Credentials are a secure type of metadata that allows creators to share information about themselves and their work — effectively signing their work digitally, much like an artist signing a painting or sculpture. By adopting Content Credentials today, creators are helping build a more transparent, accountable, and creator-friendly digital ecosystem.

Identity verification for the creative community

One thing we've heard consistently in our conversations with creators is that they struggle to secure proper attribution for their work online. The concerns highlight a critical gap: Creators need a reliable way to verify their identities and receive credit for what they produce. Without this, creators risk losing control of their work, missing future opportunities or, worse, watching others use or profit from their work without their consent. To address this, we’re excited to collaborate with LinkedIn to integrate its new Verified on LinkedIn feature into the Content Authenticity app (as well as the Behance platform), giving creators a way to attach their verified identity to their work. As an extension of this collaboration, LinkedIn has joined the Adobe-led Content Authenticity Initiative as a member, joining over 4,500 members committed to driving the widespread adoption of Content Credentials.

Key features, shaped by creators

Adobe initially introduced the Adobe Content Authenticity app as a private beta at MAX last year and have continued to partner closely with our creative community, asking creators to explore the app, test its features and provide valuable feedback. This collaborative approach was central to shaping a tool built by creators, for creators.

Adobe’s Content Credentials are durable, which means they remain securely connected throughout the content lifecycle, even if a screenshot is taken. Here are the key features creators can find with the Content Authenticity app public beta:

Attach verified identity and more: Creators can choose what attribution information gets attached to their digital work with Content Credentials — including their verified name (powered by Verified on LinkedIn) and links to social media accounts (Behance, Instagram, LinkedIn and X). Attaching this information helps creators receive proper attribution for their work and build connections with those who engage with their work online.

Batch-apply Content Credentials to images: Creators can now apply Content Credentials to up to 50 JPG or PNG files at once — whether the content was made with Adobe apps or not. It’s a fast, intuitive way to add Content Credentials to both new and legacy content. Support for larger files and more media types, including video and audio, is coming soon.

Signal preference around generative AI training and usage: With our Firefly family of models, we’ve taken the most creator-friendly approach to AI, training only on content we have permission to use. However, not all generative AI models follow this same approach and we believe there’s more the industry can do to support and protect creators. With the Generative AI Training and Usage Preference, creators can use Content Credentials to signal to other generative AI models that they don’t want their content used for training — helping to lay the foundation for creator choice. Thanks to the durability of Adobe’s Content Credentials, creators who note their training preference today via the app are well-positioned to have it recognized when global opt-out regulations take shape and as more companies start respecting creator preferences. Adobe is working closely with policymakers and industry partners to establish effective, creator-friendly opt-out mechanisms powered by Content Credentials.

Viewing Content Credentials: Creators and consumers can use the Content Authenticity extension for Google Chrome and the Inspect tool within the app to help display and recover any Content Credentials associated with the content, including edit history when available.

Members of the creator community shared their experiences using the app so far:

The Adobe Content Authenticity app is a game changer towards a more creator-friendly internet — giving artists peace of mind by enabling us to attach important information about ourselves via Content Credentials, ensuring my photos have secure attribution, wherever they travel online.

– Obi Nzeribe, fashion and commercial photographer

This isn’t just about protecting art — it’s about protecting our shared reality. Invisible watermarks combined with secure metadata, unseen by the eye yet unmistakable to technology, are critical tools for preserving truth in an era of digital uncertainty.

– Benjamin Von Wong, artist and activist

Looking ahead

Our plan is to integrate the Content Authenticity app with Creative Cloud apps that support Content Credentials like Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and more, ultimately making it the centralized hub for creators managing their Content Credentials preferences across Adobe apps.

In the coming months, LinkedIn also plans to expand its support for Content Credentials by displaying the attribution information attached with the Content Authenticity app directly on its platform (see mock up above). This will effectively connect ‘trust signals’ across platforms, meaning if a photographer uploads a photo to the Content Authenticity app and signs it with Content Credentials, including their verified identity, LinkedIn will display the credentials via a 'Cr' pin when they share it — allowing audiences to scroll over and view the credentials with the creator’s verified name, effectively affirming attribution.

Adobe Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator and purpose-built AI agents

Adobe Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator enables businesses to build, manage and orchestrate AI agents from Adobe and third-party ecosystems. With AEP as the foundation, agents are built with a deep understanding of customer data and content to enhance decision-making, as well as support for multiagent collaboration, and decision science and language models that enable dynamic and adaptive reasoning. Brands can also shorten time to value, as AEP data is brought together under Experience Data Model schemas, which derive meaning from unrelated data and enables impactful customer experiences. Today, billions of audience profiles are managed and activated through AEP.

Adobe brand concierge for B2C and B2B businesses

A new generation of consumers is seeing value in having conversational experiences with their favorite brands. New insights from Adobe Analytics show a 1,200% increase in traffic to U.S. retail sites from generative AI sources (AI-powered chat services) in February 2025—and a 1,700% increase to travel sites—as consumers looked for purchase guidance, inspiration and available deals. Agentic AI ushers in a new era for how businesses and consumers interact, with AI agents that will be able to handle more complex tasks and make highly tailored recommendations. This can include everything from personalized trip planning in travel and hospitality to helping shoppers find the perfect product or service in retail.

With Adobe Brand Concierge—a new AI-powered solution built on AEP Agent Orchestrator—businesses will be able to configure and manage AI agents that guide consumers from exploration to confident purchase decisions, using immersive and conversational experiences. This offering will be multimodal, supporting interactions across text, voice or images while delivering AI-driven, sensory-rich recommendations and comparisons. Leveraging comprehensive AEP insights, Adobe Experience Manager brand experiences and third-party sources, agents such as the Product Advisor Agent will be able to personalize experiences based on user context and brand preferences—anchored in trusted first-party data and brand content for reliability and compliance. As customers interact across a businesses' digital properties, insights on sentiment, behavior and pain points will be captured in AEP, to inform and shape the overall customer experience.

Adobe Brand Concierge will be built to support use cases across both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) teams. B2B teams have unique challenges, and Brand Concierge will address this with Experience Platform agents, such as the Account Qualification Agent, that will operate in sync with sales and marketing teams. For instance, on a brand website, the Brand Concierge will go beyond providing general product information to delivering tailored content based on the existing account relationship, while handling tasks such as booking follow-up meetings. These capabilities will optimize the sales cycle by generating more leads and boosting conversion through more precise personalization.

AI agent partner ecosystem

As teams embrace agentic AI to augment their daily work and drive better results, interoperability amongst AI agents in different ecosystems is critical. Across the applications that marketers lean on to deliver great customer experiences, AI agents must work together effectively and not disrupt the flow of work.

Adobe Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator equips businesses with tools to drive multi-agent collaboration, extending the value of agentic AI across more workflows, with customization capabilities that address specific needs. This includes new and continued strategic partnerships with Acxiom, Amazon Web Services, Genesys, IBM, Microsoft, RainFocus, SAP, ServiceNow and Workday that enable seamless execution of use cases across agents for customer service, enterprise resource planning, human resources, collaboration and productivity, and data management. Adobe also announced expanded agency and system integrator partnerships with Accenture, Deloitte Digital, EY and IBM to drive customization across industries and use cases.
