Team of four has quit Citibank - Private Bank division (Citi Private Bank) in the wealth management sector serving top clients across the country. Prakash Bulusu, Director and South Head, Raghav Gupta, Director and North Head, Vidushi Tandon, Senior Banker in North and Amit Srivastava,  managing Investments, is the team that has quit and joined ASK Wealth Advisors, a strong local player in the evolving Indian wealth management industry. Prakash and Raghav are joining as Managing Partners, with intent to bring in their extensive experience to grow the company.

Prakash has been with Citi for more than a decade, with his last stint (6 years) being, the Head of Private Bank for Citi in South India. Entrusted with setting up the Private Bank in South along with his colleague, Amit Srivastava, Prakash took it to a leading position in South Indian market. He was consistently ranked as one of the highest Assets under Management (AUM) and Revenue generating Private Bankers in Citi, and has won numerous global Citi Private Bank accolades. He also helped set up the pan-India Investment business from scratch and was the National Sales Head, while he was working in the Liabilities division of Commercial Bank for Citibank. With an experience spanning 2 decades in the financial services industry - relationship management, Investment sales and Business development, he has worked with Asset Management Companies (AMCs) like Principal PNB and Zurich Asset Management.

Raghav has been the face of Citi Private Bank in the North India markets. An industry veteran and a leading Private Banker in the country, he joined Citi in 2006 from Kotak to set up the Private Bank for Citi in North. He has led the team to be the largest Revenue generating region in Citi Private Bank and has consistently been amongst the top 2 revenue generators for Citi Private Bank. He carries a bulge of experience in the wealth management industry, managing wealth and serving billionaire clients for almost 2 decades. His prior stints were with ANZ Grindlays, JM Morgan Stanley and Kotak Mahindra Bank.

In the recent past, a lot of foreign banks offering private banking / wealth management have seen huge attrition, either shutting down or merging with retail banks. There has been a perceptible shift in the wealth management market with preference (of both talent as well as clients) towards local players for whom core business is wealth management / private banking. These local players are more nimble-footed and innovative in their product offering, thus, suited to serve their clients better and attracting talent at the same time.

ASK Wealth Advisors is a wealth management and multi-family office firm that caters to ultra HNI segment (both domestic and abroad) as well as institutional / corporate treasury segment. It is a part of the ASK group that has been in existence since more than 3 decades and manages close to US Dollar 4 billion in assets across traditional and alternative product segments of mutual funds, equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity etc. With this team of four joining in, ASK Wealth Advisors looks at reaching new heights.
