Capgemini, a France based famous multinational, is currently on a lookout for Indian startups in the domain of Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence and data analytics, and cement partnerships with them. According to the MNC, with these partnerships, they can help these startups gain international visibility and recognition.

This initiative of connecting with startups is a part of Capgemini's Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) programme. The programme entails leveraging startups all across the world that are capable of infusing new life into important sectors such as telecommunications, banking, insurance and retails etc. with their out-of-the box, innovative ideas.

The MNC has already had several successful collaborations with startups in Europe and the US, and now it has its eyes set on startups based in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi. The company believes, that startups nowadays are totally dependent on venture capitalists to bring them to markets. This is the very concern they wish to address through their AIE programme.

According to Indian startup industry experts, the AIE programme is a great initiative. It is an extremely difficult task for Indian startups to find enterprises beyond their national boundaries, and when it comes to big corporations, it is a situation similar to scouting for a needle in a haystack. The AIE programme could be successful in bridging this very gap. There are several Indian startups currently in operation which are currently going through such situations. They are able to build good, innovative product, but fail to connect with clients beyond their countries. The Capgemini programme could help in changing the scenario and let even Indian startups have a global identity.
