Chandigarh-based Click Labs (P) Ltd which is a full service custom app, software development and technology solutions company. The company also has office in California and supports entrepreneurs by providing them with co-working space, as well as creating MVPs for startups in the area of On Demand Mobile Services (ODMS), mobile gaming, enterprise mobility and internet of things (IoT).
Click Labs is is now all set to incubate early-stage Indian startups after having startups incubated under its belt reported VCCircle. The company claims to have over 100 portfolio start-up companies under its belt mostly from UK, US and Australia. Its Chandigarh centre has a capacity to house around 200 people and plans to incubate about five startups in a year. The firm also plans to invest between Rs 20-40 lakh in its incubatee companies.
Till now Click Labs has incubated 5 startups in India - VoteChat, GamiFyd, PostMyGreetings, Distribute Apps and Wissen Research.
Click Labs specializes and excels in building mobile apps for both startups and large enterprises. But the company also host a unique startup lab, incubating six different companies: VoteChat, Gamifyd, Post My Greetings, Wissen Research and Distribute Apps. In traditional startup incubators, the parent company simply provides funding, but Click Labs' startup lab provide development resources, labor and office space as a part of helping new companies develop.
Recently Boombotix, a startup in the wearable speaker space had raised $4 million in series A funding; while tshirtOS which has developed a flexible, washable LED screen that can be programmed via a smartphone app to display any message, image or animation on the t-shirt, was acquired by Scotland-based liquor brand Ballantines.
Last year on October, Gamifyd - a startup founded by IIT graduate Parag Jain came into existence just because of development resources provided by Click Labs. Though the startup was looking for investor cash however Click Labs useful resources provided them platform to atleast form a company.
