Tezos India Partners with The Blockchain School, Introduces Tezos Basics Course on The Blockchain School’s Online Learning Platform

Tezos India – an organization that enables people and entities to use the Tezos blockchain, has announced a strategic knowledge and outreach partnership with The Blockchain School – a new age ed-tech platform for blockchain enthusiast learners. As a part of this collaboration, Tezos India has now launched a Tezos Fundamentals video course named ‘Tezos 101- Fundamentals & Framework’ on The Blockchain School’s online learning platform.

The Tezos 101 course – the curriculum of which has been developed jointly by Tezos India and The Blockchain School teams -- is aimed at anyone and everyone who wants to get started with Tezos, including students, developers, entrepreneurs, product folks and crypto and blockchain enthusiasts. It primarily delves into creating an understanding of the fundamentals of the novel Tezos protocol, and then goes deeper with modules around Tezos Economy, PoS Mechanism, Smart Contracts, Tezos Governance and Baking & Delegating on Tezos, among other useful topics for the novice learners.

Tezos India, in partnership with The Blockchain School, also has plans to launch more hands-on courses on Using Tezos Sandbox Demo, Developing a Dapp with Tezos, and Creating Tezos Token and integration with Tezos. Tezos India aims to grow the Tezos ecosystem, by building and promoting the right resources and right content that can help people understand the technology better and embrace it, and thereby solving all kinds of non-tech problems vis-à-vis Tezos adoption. Their latest partnership with The Blockchain School, is, therefore, a significant step forward in that direction.

Notably, Tezos India has also previously launched a Developer handbook -- co-presented with TZ APAC -- which enables new developers to learn to code on Tezos within 15 days. Additionally, Tezos India and TZ APAC have partnered with Microsoft, Skoda and Tech Mahindra to deliver the Microsoft Century Program – a corporate-SME bridge program that seeks to uncover blockchain-based solutions on Tezos for industry-specific use cases. Whereas on the academic front, Tezos India has been setting up Tezos Clubs in various reputed universities (an annual development programme for blockchain enthusiasts to learn from the leaders in the ecosystem via workshops and in-house hackathons), Tezos Students’ Chapters that aim to add the Tezos curriculum in colleges/universities, as well as organizing various hackathons, masterclasses, fellowships and other training events.

ŠKODA AUTO Digilab India, Tech Mahindra and Tezos India Tie-Up to Launch the Century Program with support from Microsoft India To Identify Blockchain Solutions in Manufacturing

Lumos Labs, an innovation management company, in collaboration with Microsoft India, announced the launch of the Century Program, an enterprise Blockchain Startup Program to evangelize, curate, and unearth 100 best enterprise-ready Blockchain solutions for industry-specific use cases. ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab India and Tech Mahindra have partnered as the first original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and System Integrator (SI) respectively for the Discrete Manufacturing track of the Century Program. ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab India, a division of ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd aims to use its development expertise and knowledge in digitization to identify the problem statements for the start-ups to work on innovative Blockchain-based solutions. Platform partner Tezos India will guide and advise participants to the developer tooling to build their decentralized applications on Tezos, a secure, open-source, and self-amending blockchain protocol.

The Century Program spans over 18 months and will provide the selected startups with opportunities to regularly engage with industry experts and leverage the partner networks of Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, and ŠKODA AUTO Digilab India for business growth. Microsoft will help accelerate their startup journeys through mentorship, streamlined go-to-market (GTM) activities, and access to world-class technical resources. The program intends to identify and solve real-time business challenges and blockchain use cases faced across seven industry verticals including Media and Entertainment, Oil and Natural Gas, Trade Finance, Healthcare, Public Sector, Discrete Manufacturing, and Telecom sector using blockchain technologies.

According to the Nasscom Avasant India Blockchain Report 2019, the emergence of Blockchain 3.0 with its increased security, interoperability and scalability is set to accelerate enterprise adoption. Century Program aims to address this need by defining the problem statements in each sector, identifying enterprises exploring solutions for these problem statements, and connecting them to relevant start-ups with an enterprise-ready use case solution.
