Re-Commerce Marketplace Cashify Opens New Store in Bangalore

Cashify, India's leading re-commerce marketplace that sells and buys used electronic gadgets, has opened its new store in Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore spread across approximately 400 sq. ft. This is Cashify's third store in the city, the other two being located in Frazer Town and BTM. The new store has taken up Cashify's kiosk and store count to 45.

Talking about the newly launched store, Alok Shukla, VP - Retail, Cashify said, "While our retail model started with a vision to help customers sell their old smartphones on the spot, we have a much bigger pool of services, which we are looking forward to offering to our customers through the chain of kiosks and stores. The new store is set to provide a wide array of services and would include the buying and selling of old or refurbished smartphones, screen repairs, selling of accessories and more. All the services will be instant, on the spot and ensure to provide a whole new experience to customers. Cashify has been primarily online since the start, however, it forayed into the offline model with its first store in Faridabad in June last year and now its total number of stores has gone up to 10.

Cashify Acqui-hires Chandigarh-based Gadget Repair Firm Teksolvr

Gurgaon-headquartered used-phone selling platform, Cashify.in has acqui-hired Chandigarh-based Teksolvr, a gadget repairing company with physical presence in Chandigarh Tricity, to expand its express screen repair services called Cashify's ScreenPro.

As a part of the deal, the core team of Teksolvr will join Cashify's ScreenPro, an express phone screen-repair service by the company. The deal will allow Cashify to scale up their screen repair services to different geographies across north India.

Available for smartphone users across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Screenpro will now be available in Chandigarh Tricity too, post this acqui-hire.

Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and Trifecta Capital, Cashify had earlier acquired MobiBing, a Bangalore-based B2C responsive marketplace to buy &sell overstock, refurbished & un-boxed gadgets, in July 2016. Cashify, Indian Re-commerce Company, Acquihires Bangalore Based MobiBing

Re-commerce company Cashify (Formerly known as ReGlobe) has announced the acqui-hiring of Bangalore based MobiBing, a B2C responsive market-place to buy &sell overstock, refurbished & un-boxed gadgets. Sibgathulla Zeeshan, the founder of Mobibing, brings South India regional expertise and will join the Strategic Initiatives team to build, expand and upgrade its product offerings as well as enhance geographical presence for Cashify.

MobiBing has built a platform for refurbished gadgets with meta-search engine that supports and lists 4500+ smartphones, tablets and laptops categories with the prime focus to re-sell and exchange best-priced quality smartphones, laptops and tablets to Customers (students, SMEs and working professionals). Launched in July 2015 with operations based out of Bangalore, the team had set up testing capability for various gadgets and has shipped certified devices to over 100 cities.
