Gurgaon-headquartered used-phone selling platform, Cashify.in has acqui-hired Chandigarh-based Teksolvr, a gadget repairing company with physical presence in Chandigarh Tricity, to expand its express screen repair services called Cashify's ScreenPro.

As a part of the deal, the core team of Teksolvr will join Cashify's ScreenPro, an express phone screen-repair service by the company. The deal will allow Cashify to scale up their screen repair services to different geographies across north India.

Available for smartphone users across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Screenpro will now be available in Chandigarh Tricity too, post this acqui-hire.

Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and Trifecta Capital, Cashify had earlier acquired MobiBing, a Bangalore-based B2C responsive marketplace to buy &sell overstock, refurbished & un-boxed gadgets, in July 2016. Cashify merged MobiBing’s team with their own customer experience operations group, to further strengthen their value proposition and expand their reach in India.

The acqui-hire of Teksolvr marks ScreenPro’s geographical expansion to Chandigarh Tricity, and will lead its growth to more cities in north India. Cashify ScreenPro already provides high quality, express screen repair solutions for major smartphone brands at most competitive prices.

Founded in 2017, by Manpreet Singh, Teksolvr is a doorstep repair service provider has become rapidly popular, especially amongst the time- stripped quality-conscious smartphone users, who dislike the idea of dropping their phones at a repair-centre and wait for several days, only to be disappointed later by the inferior screen-quality.

Cashify ScreenPro offers an unbeatable upfront quote for a screen repair of choice, and once the quote is accepted, the technician visits the customer’s preferred location to provide LIVE repair service. With Teksolvr under their belt, the business is looking forward to strengthen their operations and reach, aiming to bring better customer-centric approach and provide convenient screen repair services to minimize total turnaround time as well.

In a media statement, Amit Sethi, Co-founder of Cashify.in said, “We are glad to welcome Teksolvr team to the Cashify family. Teksolvr a market leader in Chandigarh Tricity has been doing great work in combining customer experience with service quality, which matches the ethos of Cashify. Together this combination will bring a lot of innovation and delight to customer which matches the objectives of both organization.”

ScreenPro has serviced more than 1 lakh happy customers across five cities (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Bengaluru and Mumbai) in India and are looking to expand the business to new geographical locations, aggressively. With highly skilled technical work force on board, ScreenPro can repair a broken screen in 30 mins, at the doorstep and at attractive rates. The service comes with a 6-month warranty and a 7-day money-back promise, which makes them a standout- option in the very cluttered market of inferior screen-quality suppliers.

Teksolvr, the Chandigarh based start-up is operational since July 2017, offering live screen repair services to customers. After partnering with Cashify ScreenPro, Teksolvr will also look forward to benefit from the immense experience that Cashify brings on the table and will be symbiotic for both, in order to scale up their operations and in enhancing geographical presence.

“With smartphone sizes getting bigger every year, the screens are getting more vulnerable too. An independent study suggests that more than 30% of premium smartphone owners worry about their screen, and a minor crack is enough to get them thinking about a replacement.Naturally, a prompt and hassle-free screen repair service that delivers quality will become a quick-favourite”, said Kshitij Mohan, Business Head-ScreenPro.

In an aggressively growing smartphone market in India, 3 out of every 10 smartphone users have experienced a cracked screen. With a serious lack of reliable solutions for screen repair in India, Cashify ScreenPro has been establishing itself as a Go-To destination for all Broken Screen Problems.
