In this year,  India's homegrown Byju's becomes the world's most valuable EdTech company, at valuation of $18 billion. In this year, the when the world tried striving out of the Covid lockdown effects, people went more digital and edtech saw a major boom in this period. The sudden growth caught investors’ eyes too, and they loosened their pockets to cut a slice of the pie.
