Maya enables women to keep track of their health via a mobile application. Women world over use Maya to track their periods, monitor related symptoms, set health reminders, monitor pregnancy and connect with health experts. There are 2 billion women of reproductive age globally, who need better mechanisms to monitor their health needs. Taking advantage of smartphone access in the remotest corners, Maya equips women to manage their health better using a smartphone.

Founded in early 2014, Maya has clocked 7 million downloads across 190 countries worldwide. The app logs more than 1 million active users every month and the top geographies are India, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, South Korea and Russia. Maya supports 14 international languages and has garnered a 4.6 Star rating from more than 150,000 user ratings. Featuring world-class design and unparalleled user experience, Maya is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple iTunes Store.

John Paul, CEO, Maya said, “It’s exciting times at Maya! We are honoured and excited about winning this among entries from all over the world. The award recognises the effort Maya puts into understanding a relatively unspoken area of women’s health. We thank Facebook for this recognition and being a valuable partner in Maya’s journey. We resolve to work harder on our mission, to make a difference in the life of women, by helping them track their health better. ”
