New Delhi-based accountancy and compliance start up MyeCA.in has acquired Mohali based legal start up firm Lawin1 Legal Process Solutions. The deal was closed earlier on Monday between the two startup firms at an enterprise value close to about $584K.

Karvin Management Consultants, the parent company which operates MyeCa.in specializing in the areas of Corporate and management consultancy including company formations and compliances etc. has now marked its presence in legal world with the acquisition of Lawin1.

The company registered 20% compounded growth YOY. MyeCA.in was initially launched in 2014 by Kapil Dudeja and Deepak Arora with 7 services under 4 categories- Corporate Registration, Statutory compliances, Tax Filings, Secretarial Services among others and have grown as a full fledge  management consultancy  services having focuses over SME sector and fresh startups.

MyeCA.in has been a hit among SMEs who look to have their legal compliances robust at the same time be economical on the pockets when compared to exorbitant consultancy charges of peer accounting firms in India.

Lawin1 was launched in September 2014 as an e-portal for legal services across the country by Manik Gupta and Pradeep Kumar. The startup had initially launched with 30 services under 4 categories – Business Registration, Tax Filings, Documentation and Legal Advice and later it dropped two categories and focused on business registration and documentation departments.

Over the past 20 months, the startup accumulated more than 600 clients from across the country ranging from traditional manufacturing houses to well funded VC ventures and the chief executive of a global top 3 tech company. The ticket size ranging from 2,500 to 30,000 depending on the work to be done.
