Four IIT-Guwahati graduates - Rameshwar M Paswan, Chandan Pandey, Ashish Kumar Sinha and Ajit Kumar, have come up with a unique concept of free business incubator to support startups in India. The incubator named - ‘Startup Entrepreneurs’, offers free incubation, mentorship, workspace and funding to Indian startups.

This incubator which the founders call it 'club' for startup entrepreneurs, is located in prime location of Noida (outskirt of Delhi) and offers all possible supports to innovative technology startups to create successful business around startup business idea. The club is a great mixture of experienced professionals sand startups which offers mentorship, networking, finance and even workspace to startups for "Free".

The Noida-based incubator targets startups in the Internet, mobile and software technology domains.

The incubator, which expects to kickstart the programme by the end of this month, can accommodate 50 startups at a time. The co-working space has free desks, Internet, electricity, Wi-Fi, cafeteria, lounge, meeting room, and parking.

Unlike other incubators, this incubator do not equity in startups. It rather analyse challenges of individual startups and then support them without increasing their risk. In short, the incubator provide an inside support rather than an outside support provided by other incubators.

After graduating in 2006 from IIT Guwahati, all four founders joined industry. Three of them setup their own startup ventures. Rameshwar M Paswan, leader of Startup Entrepreneurs, is based in Norway. He had a number of startup initiatives and has been entrepreneur in Europe since 2009. He setup his tech startup in 2009 and built it as a global company with market presence in USA, UK, Middle East, and Asia.

These four founders realized that startup entrepreneurs require different supports such as financial, emotional, technical, advisory, network and excellent environment (workspace) to lighten their fire. Therefore they wanted to setup a platform for startups to offer them genuine supports, which can improve assist startups to build good business around their business idea. Hence, they chose to setup Startup Entrepreneurs, a club for startup entrepreneurs, which will strengthen Indian startup culture by improving success rates of innovative startups.

"There are numerous business incubators, accelerators and startup communities available in the startup society. However the success rate of startup entrepreneurs are still extremely low. To survive and continue entrepreneurial journey, entrepreneurs require genuine supports. The supports that comes from inside rather than outside," said Rameshwar in a statement.

In future, the incubator plans to set up a fund to support and invest in startups with great potential.
