Twistofy is a platform where all the creativity comes together 'thoda twist laga ke'. Started in Feb this year by Neha Shah, Twistofy, a Bangalore based online startup shows you how to make some creative stuff in a few simple steps, order cool customized gifts, shop for some really whacko stuff or just look at the world with a pair of creative eyeglasses.
Twistofy is a creative platform encompassing a host of offerings to give a 'twist' to the otherwise mundane lives. "Do you get a high from creativity? Is your drug 'out-of-the-box' funk? Does a clever twist in the otherwise mundane life turn you on? Yes? Then, get on board a roller coaster of a journey called Twistofy," says Neha, an Alumni of BITS Pilani.

Twistofy is offering a variety of services to people with creative ideas. We asked Twistofy founder how it all started, and Neha told us a little story, "During one of the several late night conversations over coffee, me and my friends were lamenting about the dearth of interesting gifting options available in India and that so much cool-ness could actually be done! And that's how we started our first company 'Voila! Creations' offering customized gifting solutions for corporates, schools and colleges." But that was just the beginning of their roller coaster ride. "After a year I was shifted to Pune, so continuing with Voila! was difficult. After constant brainstorming for about a year, I finally decided to start Twistofy- a simple yet powerful creativity platform," adds Neha.
Twistofy started with simple things like blogging about interesting artists, simple yet cool DIYs (Do It Yourself), previous customized gifting orders we had executed and gifts we'd made for friends and family. Pretty soon Twistofy started getting partnership and collaboration offers with upcoming start-ups, followed by opportunities for creative consultation and March onwards, and have started doing offline events and regular DIY activities with schools.
Twistofy now conducts workshops which adds value by putting this into practice through well thought out activities. "And that is precisely what drives users to us," says Neha. They are filling young minds with creative ideas to enhance the thinking capabilities of kids. Twistofy will soon increase the number of strategic collaborations and partnerships both online and offline. They also want to focus on developing and expanding Twistofy’s customized gifting capabilities.
As a message for future entrepreneurs, Neha says, "Start small, but keep going at it consistently. Seize every opportunity, big or small. Learn to stop and congratulate yourself." Neha advises the entrepreneurs to seize the day and says that it was the best advice she ever got.
