Imagine that you drew a beautiful landscape and while painting it, you can actually paint each and every thing with its own original and natural color. For example, you can paint the grass with its own natural green color by extracting the color from the grass itself instead of restricting to different shades of green available in your crayola which don't even match with the color of the grass. Yes, this may soon be possible with Scribble.

Scribble is advanced electronic ink pen that have color sensor which is used to detect a color, an ARM 9 microprocessor will mix the ink to the exact same color ink as the swatch. The ink is then saved to an internal memory bank, which can hold over 100,000 unique colors.

Scribble is the very first coloring device of its kind that can take the world of color from the environment around you and then transfer it directly to either a paper or your favorite mobile device.

There will be two versions of Scribble available in the market. One is the stylus version which is to be used with mobile devices using Bluetooth connectivity and the other is the ink cartridge version which allows the user to draw on a paper.

Scribble connects to your mobile phone via Bluetooth and it requires no Internet connection to work.

The Scribble stylus and pen is paired with the Scribble+ mobile app that instantly syncs every color that the user scans directly onto an Android mobile device or an iPhone or iPad. Your colors can become more useful if they are searchable, tagged and converted to various color models.

The pen is easily compatible with iOS, Android and Windows phone. It comes power packed with a 16-bit RGB color sensor which helps in storing the color the user tells it to.  The Scribble pen and stylus both have a capacity of storing upto 1 GB or 100,000 colors. Both the Scribble INK and stylus have rechargeable lithium ion battery and a Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology.  They have a micro USB for connectivity.

Any device which had previously come close to the magical resource of color concoction was the Bic’s assorted ball point. But Scribble offers more options. The Scribble ink version will be available at $ 149.95 (Rs.9060) and the stylus for $79.95 (Rs.4800).

The pen has been invented by Mark Barker and Robert Hoffman. They are soon going to start a kickstarter to fund their idea. The pen is not currently available in the market but it is available for pre-booking. There is also a 20% discount available for early birds.

The company behind Scribble is also planning on to release a PC and MAC application that would let you easily manage, tag and search for colors on your computer.
