Now Twitter allows you to Tag people in Photos

In a latest move by Twitter so as to offer more social features to its users Twitter now allows facebook like photo tagging, which lets you tag the people in your photos. You can tag up to 10 people in a photo and still have all 140 characters at your disposal announced twitter in its official blog.

In photo tagging feature If you’re the one being tagged, you’ll get a notification. You can adjust notifications, as well as who can tag you, in Twitter's 'Settings' options.

Moreover, Twitter also announced its important change that is - now you can include up to four photos in a Tweet against inclusion of only one photo that twitter allows till now. The inclusion of 4 photos will be an important move as people can now post series of photos in just one tweet so as to showcase them as album. This will also be useful for event based tweets where till now you have to tweet more than one time to show you event based photos.



With this you can also share a series of photos that automatically create a collage. Just tap on a preview to get the full image and slide through the group. The ability to upload multiple photos is starting to roll out on iPhone, and is coming soon to Android and twitter.com. Whether you’re on iPhone, Android or twitter.com, you can view Tweets with multiple photos.

Additionally, both photo-tagging and Tweets with multiple photos will display in embedded Tweets. To get these new features, you have to download the latest iPhone and Android app.

Aamir Khan joins Instagram

Aamir Khan, an ace Bollywood actor has joined the celebrity list who have joined Instagram lately (Aamir Khan Instagram profile), Aamir known in film industry as perfectionist has joined the photo sharing app that will provide its fan peek into actor's personal life. Aamir already have Twitter and facebook official accounts.

He started posting pictures on Instagram on Wednesday, his very first photo shared was an image of his with his wife saying, 'My wife, my life, my everything.'

Thereafter he tweeted - 'No time for tweeting, just time for posting my pictures in small boxes represent my daily days. Good morning!'

He lastly dedicated an image to celebrated author Maya Angelou calling her 'a true inspirational woman'.

Aamir seems to be off Twitter from posting his photos and rather finding Instagram as new medium to post photos from his daily life. Currently he is following just 2 people on Instagram that are ofcourse two Bollywood faces - actor Abhishek Bachchan and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh.

Along with Aamir there are quite a few people from bollywood who regularly post their photos on Instagram namely - Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika Padukone.

Aamir is all set to release his upcoming film ‘PK’ in December.
