NASSCOM 10,000 Startups is Back With the 4th Edition of ‘INNOTREK 2017’

Aiming to bridge India’s Start-up Success dream, National Association of Software and Services Companies’ (NASSCOM) 10,000 Startups program is all set to give wings to select innovators and entrepreneurs from the country, giving them a chance to explore new opportunities. For the 4th consecutive year, NASSCOM brings back INNOTREK 2017, a platform that provides the best technology startups of the country a chance to go to Silicon Valley and interact with global investors as well as attend workshops and sessions from stalwarts of the technology space. The program will have Mr. R Chandrashekhar, President, NASSCOM, Mr. Ravi Gururaj, Chairman, Product Council NASSCOM and dignitaries such as Shri N Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Ramesh Abhishek, DIPP Secretary and Ms. Aruna Sundararajan, Electronic & IT Secretary will be accompanying the delegation of entrepreneurs to the Valley this year.

Between the 1st and 6th of May 2017, the weeklong journey for the delegation will be full of learning and networking that will allow some of India’s upcoming technology startups with a chance to explore new horizons and grow their domain expertise exponentially. The Innotrekkers will get a chance to visit campuses of Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, IBM, and Target as part of their agenda. They will be given the opportunity to showcase their cutting-edge, future ready innovations to various stakeholders. The networking activities and site visits will help entrepreneurs to get a better understanding of the global work culture and exchange views on building a constructive work environment for their own ventures.

This year’s delegation will be travelling on the 29th April 2017 to Silicon Valley, to begin this journey of learning and networking for this year’s participants. The INNOTREK program has received a positive and encouraging response from both – the participants and the larger industry – for promoting entrepreneurship, and providing a learning and networking platform for the young startups of the country.

IvyCamp And NASSCOM Announce The 3rd Season of Rendezvous IoT- India’s Platform For IoT Startups, VCs, Investors, Experts And Corporates

IvyCamp, an initiative of IvyCap Ventures, and NASSCOM 10000 StartUps under the aegis of CoE-IoT (Centre of Excellence in Internet of Things) have announced their third season of Rendezvous IoT (RIOT-3), supported by the Government of Maharashtra and Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation.

The event which focuses on IOT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, VR and Hardware Space startups, will enable them to connect with corporates for potential orders, synergy, acquisition, acquihiring, funding and the likes. For corporates, it is an opportunity to tap into startups to identify solutions that could address their business problems.
The event is to be held on the 10th at the 91 SpringBoard office in Mumbai.

The earlier editions of the event, RIOT-1 and RIOT-2 witnessed hundreds of startups and investors participating in the event. The total amount of funding awarded has been over Rs 7.5 crores across both the editions.

The earlier editions also saw participation from large corporates such as Tech Mahindra, TATA, Reliance, etc.Indian and foreign Government agencies such as Smart Cities Commission and Government of New South Wales and Government of Ecuador also participated in the event.

The NASSCOM and IvyCamp's alliance will look at developing strategies and initiatives to bolster the IOT movement in Indian StartUp Ecosystem including cultivating innovation, educating the investment community and fostering partnerships between industry and the startups.

Research by McKinsey Global Institute estimates the impact of the Internet of Things on the global economy will be $6.2T by 2025. NASSCOM and Deloitte recently pegged the IoT market in India at $5.6B in 2016, growing to over $15B by 2020.

NASSCOM 10,000 Startups Collaborates With IVYCamp to Build an IoT Centered Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

The alliance will look at developing strategies and initiatives to bolster the IOT movement in Indian StartUp Ecosystem.

NASSCOM 10000 StartUps has revolutionized the startup ecosystem by bringing together valuable insights from Industry leaders, best in class StartUps providing a window of opportunity to explore what the investors are looking at in a startup before funding. The IvyCamp Platform will connect the industry participants to entrepreneurs for providing guidance on formulating & driving the IOT business. Activities through the year will focus on seeking out, supporting and growing IOT innovations and ventures.

The event will provide an opportunity to the IOT StartUps to demo their products to investors, mentors and corporate partners. Ivycamp will also be hosting an investor education program on financing IOT startups.
