Forus Health Hires Arun Krishnan as the CTO and Manish Sharma as VP-Product Management

After announcing the launch of its first office in the United States last month, Bangalore based medical devices company; Forus Health Pvt. The company today, announced the appointment of Mr.Arun Krishnan as the Chief Technology Officer and Mr. Manish Sharma as Vice President-Product Management. With over 20 years of experience in research and product development, Arun Krishnan has worked for global giant, Siemens Healthcare in leadership roles. His impressive portfolio includes running distributed global teams in the development of regulated medical devices. This IIT Madras and Carnegie Mellon Pass out has 39 granted US patents and multiple awards including Siemens Inventor of the Year (2009) and the Data Mining Practice Prize from ACM SIGKDD (2009).

His in-depth industry knowledge, ability to develop an innovation driven culture in teams and passion for digital health, makes Arun a valuable resource whose appointment will further strengthen Forus Health’s technology infrastructure and its effective deployment.

Manish has diversified and functional expertise in defining and executing corporate strategy. At Danaher he was instrumental in setting up business for growth, providing support to sales distributors and building the brand along with driving and implementing strategy. Manish holds a Master of Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from the prestigious Booth School of Business, Chicago.

Forus Health Eyes Global Expansion, Launches 3nethra Classic in International Market

After effectively capturing domestic markets, Bangalore based medical devices company, Forus Health Pvt. Ltd has taken its accurate and affordable eye screening device, the 3nethra classic, to international shores. Earlier this year, Forus Health had got the 3nethra classic device FDA registered in the US and officially launched the non-mydriatic camera into the US market at the recently concluded American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in Chicago where it got a resounding response from Ophthalmologists present.

Armond Dantino has been appointed Senior Sales Director (North America) and is based out of Florida.
