91springboard Launches Coworking Space in Andheri, Mumbai with a Capacity of Over 1000 Members

91springboard, the market leaders in India’s coworking segment took a huge step forward today with the official opening of their newest hub in Andheri East, MIDC, Mumbai. This swanky new space is spread across 3 floors with an overall capacity of over 1000 members and also boasts a stunning terrace cafe-cum-events area. This terrace workspace promises to be an added bonus for the freelancer community and those that want to access the coworking space for shorter periods of time. To commemorate the occasion, 91springboard held a very special launch event day with a Reverse Pitch and a ‘Hard Hat’ launch party and has now officially opened their doors for business in Andheri.

91springboard put together a unique launch day event to mark this occasion. There were two events that were planned, starting with one of their most popular proprietary events called the ‘Reverse Pitch’. This is where they get a bunch of investors to come together and ‘pitch’ to a crowd of entrepreneurs. Investors discussed their operational experience, sector focus, portfolio, ticket size and some of the top criteria used in the decision making process. It was a great chance for the entrepreneurs in the crowd to get an insight into the mind of the investors and gave them platform to interact with the investors both through the Q&A sessions as well as one-on-one networking. 91springboard managed to pull in some big names for the Reverse Pitch such as Abheek Anand, Principal – Sequoia Capital, Gourav Bhattacharya, VP- Matrix Partners and Navin Honagudi Investment Director, Kae Capital to name just a few. There were originally 12 funds that were scheduled to pitch but there ended up being 16 funds / investment firms that took the stage.

The Revere Pitch was followed up with the official Launch party to celebrate the opening of India’s largest coworking space with a capacity of over 1000 members all under one roof. 91springboard officially opened the doors of their hub in Andheri today and has already got over 120 members who have signed up for membership from day one. This new and growing hub is sure to be a centre of entrepreneurial activity in Mumbai city and is already showing signs of the makings of a great community of entrepreneurs in Mumbai.
