Unveilr AI, a Mumbai-based AI search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) company founded by Sanditya Srivastava, has raised pre-seed funding at ₹16.7 crore valuation from Aviral Bhatnagar's AJVC. The company helps brands generate qualified leads from traditional search engines and AI search platforms.

Buyers increasingly turn to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI Overviews for recommendations before contacting a business. Unlike a traditional results page, an AI-generated answer typically names only two or three brands, which means a business that is not included can lose a potential customer before that customer reaches its website.

The investment reflects this shift. As AI engines take on a larger role in deciding which businesses buyers consider, visibility in AI-generated answers is becoming a direct source of leads, and one that most businesses are not yet equipped to measure or improve. Unveilr AI addresses this by combining proprietary technology with specialist execution, and by tracking its work through to the leads its customers receive.

Unveilr AI combines search engine optimization (SEO) and AEO into a single search strategy. Its proprietary AI agents monitor how a brand appears across AI engines, identify the buyer questions where competitors are recommended instead, and map the sources those engines rely on. The company's SEO and AEO specialists then build the content, technical improvements and authority needed for the brand to be included in those answers.

Unveilr AI works with both B2B and consumer brands, and customers typically begin to see results within the first month. For one Indian B2B legal-services platform, the company increased AI-sourced traffic by roughly 4.7x and leads by 5x, alongside an approximately 80% increase in ChatGPT citations. For one D2C brand, organic search now accounts for about 27% of total revenue, with most of the remainder coming from performance marketing.

"A buyer today asks ChatGPT which lawyer, clinic or software to choose and gets two or three names back.
