Bengaluru, July 2021: Betterhalf.ai has recently announced the appointment of Mr. Biru Kumar as Senior Director of Engineering to accelerate the company’s expansion and scalability. The appointment will be effective from the month of July’21 with greater emphasis on faster shipment of products and reducing product release cycle.Commenting on the appointment, Rahul Namdev Cofounder/CTO of Betterhalf.ai, “Biru is a long-term friend of mine from IIIT-Hyderabad days. Biru Kumar has more than a decade of experience in working with startups on the technology front. Prior to joining Betterhalf.ai, he was working as Associate Director of Technology with LIDO to build a student Dashboard for offline classes. Under his leadership, the company introduced many robust features to improve user experience and user engagement and that led to an increase in user retention and new user acquisition.
Apart from this, Biru has also been a Founding member of Hansel.io and built a strong backend team to design and develop Hansel.io features. His deep knowledge in the field helped him contribute immensely to releasing, scaling and ensuring security to support a large customer base and handled 1.5 M API requests per minute. He has extensive experience of working in a scaling environment and building competent teams to deliver products in a faster way. He evaluates new technology and explores new product dimensions that help to ship products faster and reduce the development time.
Biru has earned a B.Tech degree from the International Institute of Information Technology and has worked with several forward-moving corporations in his career.
