Toronto, Canada-based Daymak, Inc, which manufactures personal light electric vehicles (LEVs), is developing a new autonomous electric car 'Spiritus' that can mine cryptocurrencies while it's parked and getting charged.
The Daymak Spiritus, which is a 3 wheel, 2 seater electric car, will be the first electric car in history to mine cryptocurrency while it is parked, including Bitcoin, Doge, Ethereum, Cardano, and more, claims the company.
With the company's own cryptocurrency suite called 'Daymak Nebula', the electric car's touch-screen dashboard will allow to access the Nebula Miner interface, as well as Nebula Wallet, where the car owners can collect their miner profits, and pay/receive/stake many cryptocurrencies. The Nebula Wallet will also be available on all smartphones.

Spiritus cars will come standard with an industry-leading GPU in mining price-to-profit and this is called Nebula Miner. Whenever the vehicle is parked on top of the Daymak Ondata wireless charging pad, or parked and trickle-solar-charging, or plugged-in, Daymak Spiritus is guaranteed to be making its owner money, claims the company.
Nebula Miner profits can be collected, stored, and transacted via the Nebula Wallet, which is securely integrated into the car's interface.

Aldo Baiocchi, CEO & founders of Daymak, told WIRED that the company is still developing software for this purpose, but designers want crypto mining for car owners to be as simple as pressing a button.
