National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) announces “गणतन्त्र उत्सव” स्कीम
~ To honour and celebrate 72 years of the Indian constitution ~
New Delhi, 14 January 2021: The National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) announced “गणतन्त्र उत्सव” स्कीम on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day. The scheme offers a free IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) in any of their preferred 22 official Indian language along with every .IN domain booked by the registrant. Applicants will also get a free email in a local language. This offer has been created to stimulate and proliferate the use of local language content.
Details of the offer:
- 1 Free IDN domain name with registration period of 1 year only will be applicable to new creates of both second level and third level .IN registrations for all tenures:
- Second Level .IN registrations e.g. example.in
- Third Level .IN registrations e.g. example.co.in
