In their second innings, UIncept will host India semi-finals of the GES Awards on 5th Nov’20. Edtech Startups from across India will come together for the Global EdTech Festival. 



UIncept, one of India’s premier accelerators has partnered with MindCET, a leading Israeli EdTech Innovation Center and Ingenious Faces to host the semi-finals of the Global EdTech Startup Awards (GES Awards 2020) India chapter. The top 8 shortlisted startups will be competing for the prestigious title and the winner will represent India at the global finals in January 2021. The online event will witness the presence of some of the promising EdTech companies in India. The speakers at the event will be sharing their deep insights on the EdTech ecosystem in India post pandemic, the role of accelerators/incubators in a startup’s journey, cross border learning’s effect on Global Employability & more. The online event will also include a meet and greet session with the shortlisted startups.

GESAwards is the world’s largest EdTech startup competition. Since its launch in 2014, over 4000 startups from over 80 countries have joined GESAwards for the opportunity to be given a global voice and to be crowned the ‘Most Promising EdTech Startup of the year’. Joining the competition provides visibility to Edtech startups and connects them with relevant partners, clients and investors. In addition to promoting the best Edtech Startups, GESAwards helps build local EdTech ecosystems as well as facilitates the flow of EdTech investments to alternative markets.

This year 5 different tracks have been introduced in the GESAwards competition. The tracks are supported by leading organizations from around the world, such as National Geographic, Edulab, Sasa Setton and more. Each one of these organizations seeks for innovative ideas in their field and provides unique opportunities for the winners.

Global EdTech Startup Awards Finals

The finalists from various countries shall be present in the Global Finals in London, a highly expected Edtech event showcasing the chosen finalists to a large audience of Edtech stakeholders, during the BETT Show week which attracts thousands of education decision makers from around the globe.
