Workflexi.in, an online platform for contingent workforce, has raised 1 Crore in seed funding. This round of funding was led by Kamalraj Chandrasekaran (Executive Director, Kamalraj Hospitality Concepts India Pvt Ltd) and also saw the participation of Parashiva J Ravikumar (Director, Orva Networks Pvt Ltd).

Commenting on the development, Sandesh Kangod, Co-founder and CEO, Workflexi.in, said, “Our distinctive model of providing contract employment is a game changer for this largely unstructured employment industry. We saw a huge potential in the flexi staffing industry and our revenue growth over the last 12 months shows the widespread acceptance of the idea.”

“The funds will be used for product development, team expansion, and execution of marketing activities. We have seen a very positive response to our work-at-will model both by employers and employees, and we are confident of reflecting this in our revenue model,” added Geetha Prabhu, Founder and COO, Workflexi.in.

Workflexi.in graduated the NASSCOM’s 10K start-up incubation programme in May 2017 and received seed funding in 2017. The platform caters to the B2B segment and is designed for contract employees and consultants, who are keen to avail the benefits that contract employment can offer.

Founded in 2016, Bangalore based Workflexi.in is an exclusive portal for skill based, contract and consulting jobs. The platform provides flexible work contracts and follows a first-of-its-kind work-at-will model, which is beneficiary to both the employers and the employees.
