If you have recently ordered something off India's ecommerce major Flipkart, there's a high chance that your package will be delivered to your doorstep by none other than Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy himself or some other top executive from the organisation rather than a regular Flipkart delivery boy. The Indian ecommerce leader, which is currently locked in in a fierce battle with global ecommerce major Amazon in India has recently flagged off a program where its employees will visit customers across the Indian subcontinent in the month of July as a part of the company's 10th anniversary celebrations.

As a part of the program, Flipkart's top executives, which includes its CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy, and its employees across business functions will get an opportunity to personally visit a customer and thank them for supporting the company for ten long years.

According to the plan carved out by the company for the program, the Flipkart employees and executives will visit customer's homes all across India, especially in tier 2, 3 and 4 towns like Bhopal, Patna, Amritsar, Vijaywada, Guwahati, Cuttack, Nashik and Jamnagar, places from which the ecommerce site gets a lot of traffic and demand.

The program will prove as a great opportunity for Flipkart employees to personally interact with the customers and get feedback on what should be done better in order to take the customer experience to a whole another level and ultimately drive Flipkart's growth to the next phase. It will also help the Flipkart employees in understanding their customers and the kind of products they want and are interested in spending their hard-earned money on.

According to Kalyan Krishnamurthy's statement to Business Insider, the program is their way of celebrating their customers and thanking them for their uninterrupted support now and forever ahead. He said, " All our innovations that drove adoption and affordability, tech advancements, and category expansions -- was done to simplify and bring value to our customer's life. As we dedicate this month to our customers, we would like to take this opportunity to get to know them better by personally interacting with them."
