New York-based interviewing platform, JustCode has acquired Bengaluru-based online job recruitment platform Jobspire for an undisclosed amount. With this acquisition, JustCode aims to extend its operations in India and to further strengthen its core products for employers.

Post-acquisition, Jobspire’s core products will be integrated with JustCode.

Founded in 2014 by Varun Mayya, Kartik Luke Singh, Sandesh Kini and Mohak Dhingra, Jobspire provides end-to-end online job recruitment solutions that included sourcing, matching, decision-making, and tracking for Indian startups. The company raised $262K in funding in August 2015 led by Ravi Srivastava of Purvi Capital with participation from Willfly Ventures, Nikunj Jain, Krishna Jha, Sanjay Bakshi, Kapil Nayyar, and Artieca Trust.

Jobspire claims to work with over 1,000 companies and has nearly 200,000 registered professionals on the platform. The startup also claims to have served more than 4 million requests in 2016, with over 1,000 professionals placed in their desired companies.

Earlier this week, Aasaanjobs, one of India’s leading online recruitment marketplace that connects entry level job seekers with employers, has acquired mHire, a Noida based recruitment platform focused on skilled & semi-skilled blue & grey collar (ie entry-level) jobs. Last month, QuikrJobs also announced its intentions of acquiring Babajob, in order to strengthen its position in the Indian blue-collar job market.
