SummerLabel, the upcoming fashion and lifestyle discovery platform has closed a seed round of funding totaling Rs 1 crore through multiple angel investors based out of Silicon Valley and India. The start-up is looking to invest the funding in building technology infrastructure, expanding its team and build a more robust network of private labels, users and influencers.

Guragon based start-up was found in October 2015 by Apaksh Gupta (25); a successful serial businessman from Chandigarh along with his co-founder Vanya Mishra (25), a former Miss India World. The start-up serves its 7,500+ registered users by letting them explore and connect with millions of home-grown private labels across the country. Building a one-stop fashion destination for its users, SummerLabel features extensive profiles of these lesser known home-grown private labels across the country. From their specialties, to store locations, price range and details as helpful as store opening and closing timings. SummerLabel equips a user with all desired information in one place and helps them make a well-informed buying decision by publishing reviews, ratings and catalogues of these stores.

SummerLabel has an ‘omni-channel discovery mechanism’ where the user can not only find the complete information about the offline private stores but can also explore unique stores that sell exclusively through their websites.

SummerLabel has a community of nearly 7,500 registered users and has tie ups with over 120 stores across the country. The start-up aims to reach a revenue of Rs.25 – Rs.35 lakhs by the end of the calendar year 2017.
