Re-commerce company Cashify (Formerly known as ReGlobe) has announced the acqui-hiring of Bangalore based MobiBing, a B2C responsive market-place to buy &sell overstock, refurbished & un-boxed gadgets. Sibgathulla Zeeshan, the founder of Mobibing, brings South India regional expertise and will join the Strategic Initiatives team to build, expand and upgrade its product offerings as well as enhance geographical presence for Cashify.
MobiBing has built a platform for refurbished gadgets with meta-search engine that supports and lists 4500+ smartphones, tablets and laptops categories with the prime focus to re-sell and exchange best-priced quality smartphones, laptops and tablets to Customers (students, SMEs and working professionals). Launched in July 2015 with operations based out of Bangalore, the team had set up testing capability for various gadgets and has shipped certified devices to over 100 cities.
Cashify has experienced significant growth since its launching 2013 and runs exchange/buyback offers for OEMs eCommerce and offline retailers. Companies like Samsung, Snapdeal, Amazon, Croma Retail, HP & others use the Cashify platform to power their exchange and buyback programs. The team at MobiBing, decided that the best way to fully realize their vision for online commerce was to build upon Cashify’s technology as part of the Cashify team.
“After closely following the progress of MobiBing and the drive of Zeeshan, we knew that the best way to create great recommerce consumer experience and more penetration in the south India market was to integrate MobiBing’s offering with Cashify” said Mandeep Manocha, CEO and co-founder of Cashify. “The collaboration will help us better serve our customers by building stronger network for south India market.”

MobiBing was one the few startups who were part of Google Developer Launchpad in India and also part of Microsoft Bizsparks program. COO of MobiBingNadeem Bari will be shifting to Germany to pursue his own consultancy work while the rest of team will be joining Cashify’s Bangalore office.
