Starting the Dowell Store wasn't an easy task for Raj Ranpara, the co-founder of the startup. A Mumbai University graduate and currently a final year B.E student at VESIT, the biggest problem Raj faced was executing his plan into a reality. This is when Jitesh Agarwal, a NIT Raipur graduate and an ex-Doormint, joined him and they started on their Dowell Store journey in 2015.
Within a few months of its launch, the startup has been able to make its mark in the merchandising world and the office supply business. Since the sector has a lot of competition, Dowell Store makes sure that they're keeping pace with the technological advancements happening in the sector. As a result of their undying determination, passion and hard work, they have been successful in bagging orders from IITs, NITs, Start-ups and corporates.
Apart from the traditional Customized products like T-shirts, Hoodies, pen drives and wrist watches, Dowell Store also supply unique high-quality customized towels and customized tie.
Raj and Jitesh have been successful in inspiring 4 of their Engineer friends to join the Dowell Store team. According to them, the startup is a “dream come true” in the truest form for them as they started with almost no investment and ended up generating a revenue of 7 lacs after working really hard for 3 months straight.
Talking about future plans, Raj thoroughly believes that stopping is not an option for them anymore, and all they want to go from here is up the hill. The founders aspire to expand business by entering the online segment and establish Dowell Store as the most trusted brand in India for customized products whether be it clothing,corporate gifts or office supply.
