Bills are something that most of us dread looking at by the end of the month. While some dread from the amount, others dread about forgetting to pay that amount by the due date. Taking this bill tension quickly and permanently away from all of us is a Torrance, CA based startup, BillQuick.

Considering the rapid pace at which the current century people are living their life at, BillQuick can be considered as a much needed invention. It is an intelligent software tool for project management, time tracking, billing and accounting solution. The software's aim is to help people improve performance, increase efficiency and streamline various processes.

The idea of developing something like BillQuick first came to Shafat Qazi, the founder, while he was a partner in a structural engineering firm based out of Los Angeles.

Then, being a member of the board of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California, Shafat was bestowed upon the duty of regularly surveying the member firms. While surveying, he found that many of these firms were struggling with time and billing and other business management processes. That's when he realised, he wasn't the only one in the boat and there has to be a better way to deal with all this.

In the year 2009, Shafat had a chanced encounter with Steve Burns. Similar to Shafat, Steve had also been living a dual life for several years, by being a partner at an architecture firm by day and a software developer by night. Steve had also realised that there had to be a better way to track time and projects in order to make things easier for architects all around the world. Soon after his this realisation, Steve decided to do something about it and came up with ArchiOffice, a software creation meant to help architects better handle time and projects. The product ended up being a huge success and an inspirational story for Shafat to begin on his entrepreneurial journey.

Over the years, BillQuick has been able to establish itself as an all-in-one software that streamlines daily task for the user and can be used on per subscription basis. The site earns a revenue of 500,000 per month and gets 20,000 unique visits per month and 300,000 users yearly.

Seeing the great success in the present, the startup aims to cash on its success by building a product that will be capable enough to encompass every aspect of project managing.

So, if time hasn't been your best friend lately, BillQuick may prove to be a great saviour for you.
