LogFuze

Chennai-based LogFuze, an online analytics platform for machine data that enables customers to gain Business Intelligence, has raised $250,000 in seed funding. The round was led by Siva Ramanathan, a seed investor, who currently works with US-based NetApp.

Founded in October 2013 by husband-wife duo Venkadesan Velu and TK Gayathri, LogFuze provides an end-to-end internet of things (IoT) analytic solution for machine and cloud infrastructure, predictive and prescriptive analytics for internet connected devices. It also helps to improve workforce with smart auto-support for complex machines and has around 12 people in its team.

Before founding LogFuze, Venkat worked at ManageEngine, NMS and MedicalMine, divisions of Zoho Corp. He holds a BE degree in mechanical engineering from National Engineering College, Tamil Nadu and Gayathri owns an MTech degree and has an experience in finance and operation.

The company primary customers are OEM customers who are weighing between a build vs buy for their in-house analytic solution. LogFuze offer them a Cloud-based SaaS platform HoraData that can be easily customised to their needs in less than two weeks.

It claims to be the only predictive analytics IoT SaaS platform for OEMs, service providers and customers at a lower cost. LogFuze competes with companies like GE Predix and Bosch IoT Suite which are operating in the same space.
