Google has introduced a new feature called Flight Search in India. Although the service came late in India, as a lot other big online flight booking portals are already providing same in India, what make Google flight search different from others are its some unique features such - drop-deal simple interface, graph of lowest airfare days in a month, hotels suggestion and can change currency as per your country.
Through its new online service in India - Flight Search, Google has an aim of helping its users find the best flights available in the market. Using Flight Search, one can search for flights directly within Google and quickly find, book and compare flights from your tablet, desktop or Mobile Phones.
Whenever one access Flight Search, they will be able to see the duration and price of flights to several famous destinations that one might like to go. The results will be based on the user’s previous searches and preferences. The user is then required to set the dates and tap the extended map in order to see the live prices for destinations all around the world.
The user can click on the departure date field to see a calendar with the lowest fares for the chosen route for each day. The Search Flight feature also allows the users to see how the prices of the flights might fluctuate based on the holiday seasons, seasons and other events. Scrolling through the months quickly will even allow the users to see the time of the year which is most suitable and cheap for flying.
Once the user has selected the departure and return dates, he/she will be presented with a list of best available flight. The list will represent the best tradeoff between price and convenience. In addition to this, the user can also see other flights by selecting “show longer or more expensive flights” or scrolling through the summary list.
The Flight Search feature of Google not only helps people in finding the best available flights for their destinations, but, it also helps them in finding new and amazing destinations for their holidays.
