Ghar360 Is A Cloud Based 3D Augmented Reality Platform

Ghar360 is a product from TechZag Solutions private Limited incorporated on Aug 2013. It aims to digitize the floor plan into an interactive walkable space's. The product not just gives the aerial view of the floor plans but also gives an option to even go inside the house which would give a realistic feeling that the person is already in the home even before it is really constructed. Started by Sanju Thomas and Ajesh Joy, batch mates at Karunya University, Coimbatore.

Ghar360 is a cloud based 3D augmented reality platform that enables users to design and visualize their dream home online within minutes. This product not just gives the aerial view of the floor plan like we typically see but also gives an option to even go inside the house which would give a realistic feeling that the person is already in the home even before it is really constructed and more interestingly it’s as simple as playing a Counter Strike or an IGI game. This provides a better look and feel for the customers on how their house interiors would look like even before it is really purchased. We are integrating real products to our product so that the users can try, visualize and play around with it before they buy them.

The company is headquartered at Bangalore. "We are working closely with the architecture, Interior design & Construction industry. We are in a stage of early revenues now and have clients both National and international clients. Our clientele includes builders, architects, interior designers, home owners and real estate portals," says Ajesh, an MBA in HR and Marketing with an experience of working with ITC and CRISIL Limited.

"The whole concept of Ghar360 started when one of the relative of Ajesh from Dubai wanted to construct a home in India. Being there he was not able to have a clear idea on how his house would look when it is finally completed. He was not able to exactly share his ideas on how he want his house to be," says Sanju, who has an experience of 5 years in the technical field. This is what they wanted to solve especially the visualization part where any users can come over to the platform and design their dream home all by themselves. They can also share their design ideas with their friends, family, architects, Interior designers etc. so that they will exactly get what they really want.

They have a few competitors like mydeco, floorplanner etc who are trying to solve the similar problem at an international level. With a user-friendly easy to use drag and drop feature, designing a home is now as simple as playing a game where users can have a feel that they are already inside the house even before it is really constructed. They also offer home customization to the users where they can customize the products as per their interest in home décor, furniture and much more. As an introductory promotional offer they have given access to design the floor plan for free.

"The first 3 months was really crucial in identifying the problems users are currently facing. We have done several validations for our product by meeting will multiple people and getting their feedback before we launched our website," says Sanju. The company of 5 people is located out of Bangalore and is partnering with national as well as international brands to expand their business to various verticals and multi dimensions.

In the near future we will be integrating with real products on to our platform that would enable the users to try, visualize and play around with real products in real time before they go to the market and by them. We would also be expanding our operations to multiple verticals and scale our business to different international markets as well.

They have received seed funding by TLABS- an initiative from Times Internet Limited- for an amount of Rs.10 Lakhs. They are also a portfolio company of NASSCOM 10000 start-ups. As a message for future entrepreneurs, Ajesh says, "Identify a real life problem and create a solution that can make a huge impact in the lives of your prospective customers." To this, Sanju adds, “V"lidate the concept well and implement it so that you see a smile on every customer you addressed."
