One of India's oldest online bus ticket booking portals, abhibus.com has been appointed by Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) as a franchisee for its B2C bookings. This means that the portal will be able to sell tickets for the APSRTC network in cities, towns and villages in Andhra Pradesh as well as beyond the state’s borders, wherever the APSRTC has its services. APSRTC is currently powered also by the online passenger reservation system provided by Abhibus Services India Pvt. Ltd.
APSRTC bus tickets inventory would now be available for the first time on abhibus.com apart from being available on apsrtconline.in. Currently the website has ticket inventory from over 1500 operators and 15000 routes. The website also has its Android and iPhone app for mobile bookings of bus tickets.
The other competitors of AbhiBus.com in India are RedBus.in and TicketGoose.
