Today, on 26th November, Google had a an Event at its Gurgaon Office for Adsense Publishers called Google Adsense UnPlugged the main objectives for the event as apparent was to educate, train the publishers on how to earn from Adsense effectively and intelligently. The event had 6 sessions - 1. Channels & Reports 2. Tools, Features & Health of Adsense Accounts 3. Ad Formats and other Products (Adsense for content, for Feeds, for mobile etc.) 4. Placements & Positions 5. Google Ad Manager (GAM) 6. Google Analytics (w.r.t Adsense) Two very interesting things I was unaware of, was - Google place high paying Ads which reside on top of your HTML Source code of webpage Preferably, Do not chose either - 'Text Ads only' or 'Image Ads only' options, because if option Text & Image Ads (default) is chosen adsense will put only one that outbid the other, so in the end you get more money. The event was great for me and i was actually charmed by the way Google Adsense Team treated us, it was awesome experience. We were also being given certificates after all completing all the sessions.

An Israel Start-up - Tactile World has developed a Computer Mouse device for visually impaired and blind people that enable them to interact with computer and web by enabling them to read and understand text as well as graphic objects shown on the computer screen. The device has has two pads, each with 16 pins along with a supplied software that translates text displayed on the screen into Braille - a method that is widely used by blind people to read and write. More interestingly what this device for blinds do differently to common computer mouse is, As the cursor controlled by the mouse is moved across the screen, the pins rise and fall to represent the text across which they are moving. One pad represents the character under the cursor, the other gives the reader information about what is coming next, such as whether it is a letter or the end of the word. This advance information makes interpretation easier. As the user reads the text, the system also announces the presence of links to other websites. And the user can opt, if he wishes, to have the computer read the whole text out loud. The device costs around $650 in comparison to Braille ...

This acquisition will help Google advertisers to get better results from their display ad campaigns running over Google Content Network and DoubleClick. The impressive dynamic ad optimization platform by Teracent customize display ads by choosing from thousands of different creative elements, automatically and in real-time, by machine-learning algorithms. The machine-algo pick and choose from thousands of creative elements of a display ad in real-time and tweak images, products, messages or colors. Even more, elements can be optimized depending on factors like geographic location, language, the content of the website, the time of day or the past performance of different ads. YouTube will be able to show more HD(High Quality Definition Videos) upto 1080 Pixels. Up from YouTube's maximum output of 720p today, YouTube's HD mode will be adding support from next to view videos in 720p or 1080p, depending on the resolution of the original source. More HD Quality videos means improved sharpness in videos with visual clarity and difference is more noticeable in videos that have fast movements and in full-screen mode.
