Electric Vehicles

An Electric Vehicle or EV, uses one or more electricity or traction motors for propulsion instead of fossil fuels.

There are three main types of EVs, classified by the degree og electricity used as their energy source — Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) are powered by both petrol and electricity, Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) that are a hybrid EVs whose battery can be recharged by plugging it into an external source of electric power, as well by its on-board engine and generator and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) that uses electricity instead of internal combustion engines (ICEs) for propulsion.
