Last month, Kerala unveiled the world’s first e-toilet. Developed by a local firm called Eram Scientific Solutions using a Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation grant, these e-toilets uses technology that turns waste into fertiliser, generates power and even makes potable water.

The Kerala tourism app and website has published information of about 914 toilets. With this, information on 152 E-Toilets will be added soon. With more toilets being added, each toilet is selected after personally inspecting and ensuring the cleanliness of the toilets.
