With the expansion of data analytics industry across India, data science has become the hottest industry to work, offering opportunities in data analytics, data engineering, machine learning, business analytics, and data science. In a bid to encourage the students of India to learn this top in-demand skill and build a career in data science, Internshala Trainings has launched The Data Science Challenge. The students can apply for this contest by 5th June 2019.

During this challenge, the participating students will be undergoing a 6-week online training and learn data science from scratch. In this training, the students will be given a comprehensive introduction to data science and will be taught the basics of python, statistics, predictive modeling, and machine learning through video tutorials.

The students will also be getting a hands-on learning experience with various assignments, assessment tests, and quizzes. On completion of the training, the students will be required to create and submit a project and the top 3 contestants will be awarded with cash rewards worth INR 65,000.


On the launch of this content, Sarvesh Agrawal. The founder and CEO of Internshala said, “The production of an enormous amount of data every minute, has given rise to the need of professionals who can organise this data and provide well-informed and innovative business solutions. This is a promising trend for the students to learn this hot in-demand skill and pursue a career in data science”.

He further added, ”Through this contest, we aim to inspire the students of India to add this coveted skill in their resume and pursue the ample opportunities being created everyday in the field of data science”.
