KiViHealth, an Ahmedabad-based technology platform to create next-generation medical clinic using intelligence and automation, has raised $400,000 in a pre-Series A round from Claris Capital and Chandigarh Angels.

Earlier, the startup had raised $130,000 in angel round from various individual investors and healthcare experts including Pradeep Jaisingh, founder of International Oncology and Healthstart group.

Founded in 2015, by Indian School of Business Alumni -- Bhanu Mahajan and Rajandeep Singh, KiViHealth is a doctor patient collaboration tool that uses chatbots and visual tools to improve patient doctor engagement. It provides patients with access to their health information,brings more clarity to medical management and enable doctors to make superior medical decisions.

Krishna Handa, founder of Claris Capital told BusinessLine that “We have observed growth of the company over last one year and are enthusiastic to commit our full support to the further growth of the company. We believe that company has proven its product market fit and holds a very strong position at a very right time in further penetrating the ripe digital healthcare ecosystem in India.”

Hemant Sood, a participating investor from Chandigarh Angels Network added that the network will not only provide investment but also mentor the company. He further added that the funds will be used to strengthen KiViHealth’s product offering and scale sales operations and also amount will be used for adding new technologies, including IOT to make the offering more inclusive for both patients and doctors.

KiViHealth is currently operational in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan, with more than 2000 paying subscribers, doctors in this case and there are more than 1 million patient registrations on the platform, the company claims adding that it is launching new revenue channels to make the overall offering more inclusive.
