Founded by Ruchir Punjabi, Langoor is a digital agency that creates simple and meaningful digital experiences to help their clients attract and engage their customers. Their digital marketing services include SEO, search engine marketing, social media marketing, responsive web design, and application development. In short, we can say that Langoor offers 360-degree integrated marketing across all communication channels to its clients and help them take their brands to the next level.
Commenting on the development, Venugopal Ganganna, CEO, Langoor said, “As a part of being a digital agency, we have been doing investments in areas that become mainstream few years down the line. The idea with Charlie Chatter is to make TV an immersive experience.” An email sent to Langoor did not elicit any response at the time of publication.
Ganganna told ET that company is planning to another $700k from them by next year as it moves from a mobile app to a dongle-based service.
A TV chat application, Charlie Chatter connects with a Smart TV to create an instant ‘POP UP’ messaging experience without interrupting TV show viewing, and allowing its users to stay connected with their friends while watching live TV.
As per the media reports, they have patented a technology that allows users to overlay chat and notifications to different displays, including TVs and handheld devices.
“Having already worked with Langoor for over 18 months building the product, we are very excited to have investment from Langoor and have entered into a strategic partnership as we look to expand into the Asian market,” said Adrian Marafioti, Co-founder, Charlie Chatter.
Charlie Chatter’s technology can be integrated into any third-party application or TV platform, providing partners with detailed analytics and a contextual ad serving platform.
Earlier in May 2017, Kreate Konnect, which manages operations for e-commerce companies, had raised an undisclosed amount of investment from advertising agency Langoor.
