Whereas in April-March 2015 the total number of produced vehicles was 23,358,047 and it registered a marginal growth of 2.58 percent over this time period.

The company offers different packages so that customers can choose the perfectly matched package as per their requirement.
- MeriCar.com –
NCR-based MeriCAR.com is a marketplace for the after-sales automotive services in India! It was founded by Rakesh Sidana in 2008. It is supported by an international automotive corporate, to deliver roadside assistance in emergency breakdowns 24×7 pan-India. Through app customers can locate car repair shops easily in the near area within a 20 km radius through GPS.
- Autoyaar –
Ahmedabad-based Autoyaar.com, an aggregator platform was launched by Bharat Ostwal, Sunil Gupta, Amisha Shah and Abhishek Gupta with an aim to organise the fragmented automobile repair and service market in October 2015. The platform helps users to find service providers for two-wheelers and four-wheelers easily in their locality. Presently, it is operational in Ahmedabad and Pune with having over 1,000 automobile service providers for different kinds of vehicles.

NCR- based Spinny operates in the pre-owned car segment and bringing transparency in the used car buying and selling process. It provides a comprehensive range of services to its customers all along documentation and inspection of vehicles either to seller or buyer. It has acquired Gurgaon-based Hopcar for its business expansion.
- Droom –
Droom, a leading online motorplace for used cars, scooters, bikes, bicycles and many more was started by Sandeep Aggarwal in January 2015. Users can find a wide variety of services all along finding used and brand new cars and other vehicles for any price range.
- SpareHub –
Pune- based SpareHub.com is an e-commerce marketplace that provides reputed companies’ spare parts to the users at genuine prices. It was founded by Arijit Chakraborty, Diptanu Bhadra and Tapas Gupta in December 2013. Presently, it is operational across west India and has more than 25 service centres with a huge collection of car spare parts. The company has raised investment from Singapore-based M&S Partners and Hyderabad Angels.

Bangalore- based Ather Energy startup has launched India’s 1st smart electric scooter in Feb 2016. The startup was founded by two IIT Madras graduates Swapnil Jain and Tarun Mehta in 2013. Vinay Sanghi launched CarTrade in 2009 to connect car dealers and customers to buy and sell cars online. The startup went digital in 2013 and today has pan India presence with over 250 employees.
- GoBumpr –
Chennai- based GoBumpr helps users to find a Bike and Car repair service at a single platform with single mobile screen tap. They can look for on road assistance, tyre puncture assistance and more on the go. In fact GoBumpr is one stop mobile app for all car repairs, service and maintenance work. This platform was founded by Karthik Venkateswaran and Sundar Natesan in 2015.
