Kairos Society, a US-based global association of hatchling entrepreneurs has appointed Govind Kavaturi as the President of Kairos India. He will hold the post for next two years. Kairos Society helps aspiring entrepreneurs less than 25 years in expansion and finding resources for their startups.
Before joining as President, Govind Kavaturi, was holding the post of Vice-President of the Kairos Society in India and helped its maiden President Santosh Yellajosula to start its operations in India and spread the word about the organisation. Now, Santosh will continue to advise the society.

Kairos calls for applications from young entrepreneurs and inducts them into the organisation. Once they become members, they get access to the worldwide network of Kairos, one of the important players in the start-up ecosystem.
“We will have our release of new fellows by March 2017 and are fully committed to send a few startups to K50 2017,” Govind has said after joining as the President of Kairos India.
The organization also announced, “VC Firms will be partnering with Kairos India from this year to source early stage startups. Our regional centers across the country will play much stronger role in anchoring startups in their region to make them not only investment ready but also help them to get in touch with the VC firms.”
Currently Kairos have centers at BITS Pilani, IIT Mumbai, BITS Pilani Hyderabad, IIT Kharagpur and VIT. It is expanding its network to other universities by adding up more regional centers. The society is increasing its engagement with young entrepreneurs in universities across the country.
