Voxweb, an IIT-Kanpur incuabated startup’s latest initiative, a talking picture app, “Speaking Orange Line Picture” has received a pre-series funding of $350,000 (approx. INR 2.3 Crores) from an a anonymous investor. This is VoxWeb’s second fund raise in a span of 4 months.
The company had received its 1st round of funding of Rs. $100,000 (Rs 65 lakh) from Jitendra Gupta, Co-Founder and Managing Director of leading payment solutions company Citrus Pay earlier this year in August 2015 and before that the startup had raised seed funding of USD 10,000, in August 2014.
The helm behind the affairs, Mr. Yash Mishra (Co-founder, Head of Product Design and CEO VoxWeb) invented this app with the mere objective of reinventing photographs and radically changing online communication and social networking. The consumer Internet Company VoxWeb’s ‘Speaking Orange Line Picture’ app has received commendable success in India, Europe and North America.
Being one of the founding members of VoxWeb, Yash has been associated with the company ever since its inception and along with his team, has brought the company to its present stature. With over 7 years of work experience across industries, Yash is popular amongst his colleagues and subordinates for his expertise in Product Design and economics but to most of them remains an enigmatic persona and appears as a reluctant entrepreneur. Yash is a B.Tech. Graduate from IIT Kanpur.
I write to you to understand if you would like to interview Mr. Yash Mishra on the 2nd series of funding received for the app. He would be glad to share more details on the same.
