Seedstars World, an exclusive global startup competition and network to identify the leading seed-stage startups across emerging markets. Based in Geneva, Switzerland and founded by Alisee de Tonnac and Pierre-Alain Masson, the competition is supported by the venture builder Seedstars. It promotes, connects and invests up to $1.5 million (Rs.9.9 crore) in start-ups in emerging markets, ranging from Shanghai to Cairo.
On September 5th, Seedstars held up its third edition of startups competition for India region in Bengaluru where 12 best startups were invited to pitch in front of local and international jury. Here are the three winners of Seedstars India startup challenge 2015:

Strike helps Email power users, research people inside their Gmail app on mobile. It is essentially ‘Rapportive for Mobile’. It runs on top of your mail app, and delivers to you, all the public information that you need about people. With Strike on your phone, you can see what people look like, where they work, their latest social updates; all of this, without having to leave your Gmail mobile app.
Strike was founded in September 2014 by Aishwarya Jain along with Akshay Katyal, his former colleague at tech company HackerEarth.
The Strike team will now travel to Geneva in March 2016 and win up to $500,000 (Rs.3.30 crore) in equity investment. It will compete with regional winners from 55 countries at the final event in front of top investors and an international jury.
EventsHigh is an events & activities marketplace that helps users discover & book all activities at one place, personalized to their tastes. It was founded by fomer WalmartLabs engineers Nikesh Garera, Arvind Batra and Parag Sarda last year.
Currently operating in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai, the startup bring all events happening in city, from various online and offline sources, at one place. One can explore the gamut of events and navigate based on their interests, location, availability and social network. In addition, for each event, it provide details such as event popularity, quality, reviews when available, to help its users make an informed decision. On EventsHigh one can also set alerts for their interests and it will send a notification whenever a relevant event comes up.
3rd-SayPay Technologies –
SayPay enables users to make bill payments, online purchases and secure website sign-in on their mobile device by simply using their voice. SayPay Technologies was co-founded by Ramsyam Missula along with Steve Hoffman.
Available for both Android and iOS platform SayPay offers a Voice Biometric Payment & ‘Voice Signature’ solution where users can authorize eCommerce purchases, P2P, Bill Pay, etc. by speaking the unique one-time crypto-token generated at run-time into the mobile app.
SayPay identifies the phone, biometrically authenticates the user, and displays the bill details on the customer’s phone for the given code. If the information matches the details on their bill or on-line checkout page, they simply press “Pay” and the payment is processed. The merchant and customer both receive a message that the payment is complete.
This patent-pending technology reduces risk and liability providing 3-factor authentication that is ideal for financial transactions, including consumer bill payments, e-commerce, P2P, and all remote authentication like password proxies, one-time passcodes, VPN, etc.
