Microsoft Introduces ‘Tossup’, A Social Polling App For Making Decisions Quickly On The Go


Want to plan an event or a trip with your friends?, but agreeing on plans is making you nuts then this latest mobile app launched by Microsoft is just for you. The app is called – Tossup, an event planning & social polling service that allows you to survey your friends to make group decision-making quickly and easily on the go. Tossup app is recent product from the company’s Microsoft Garage initiative.

Tossup is a lightweight and fast mobile app experience that helps groups plan and make decisions by giving them the ability to vote and suggest choices. It’s a nifty tool to make decisions about timing, availability, what to do, nearby venues and spending limits.

The app includes Facebook and Yelp integration, and centers around polling friends to decide what to do, when to do it, and where to go. The app is currently available to download on iPhone and Android phones in the U.S. and Canada only.

You ask the questions. Your friends cast the votes. Where to go. When to meet. Tossup app lets everybody know. Use Tossup when you need:

  • A quick yes or no count
  • To find and pick a restaurant
  • To agree on when to meet
  • Your friend’s opinion

The app also have customization options, which gives people the option of uploading their own photos and creating their own questions.
