State Officials to Join Punxsutawney Phil at PA Farm Show for Tourism Social Media Announcement

Punxsutawney Phil, Pennsylvania’s famous forecasting groundhog, will join state officials at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, at the Department of Agriculture’s booth at the Farm Show, for an important announcement about Groundhog Day, social media, and tourism.

Participants will include Department of Community and Economic Development Secretary Austin Burke, Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding, and Mickey Rowley, DCED’s deputy secretary for tourism.
