From the 24 companies shortlisted, 8 winners will be recognized and felicitated for their outstanding contribution to the Indian IT sector at the forthcoming NASSCOM India Leadership Forum 2009, scheduled in Mumbai from 11-13 February 2009. The winners were selected after a culminating process of 3 stage held at roadshows at Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi and Pune, though I feel pretty few cities are chosen for such event.
The NASSCOM Innovation Awards serves as a platform for companies to showcase their innovation and to encourage innovative practices across the IT-ITES industry. These awards have been used as a yardstick by several Venture Capital and Private Equity firms when exploring investment opportunities
In other category of ‘Business Innovation’ IndiaGames.com has been announced as one of a winner as to showcasing their online gaming evangelization process in India. The other winner in same category is Aegis awarded for its Five 9s Process – a scientific process to facilitate a smooth integration of an acquired company.
