China, India and Japan are the Fastest Growing Internet Countries (Asia-Pacific)

China, India & Japan constitutes the fastest growing countries of Internet population in Asia-Pacific region, with China being the home to largest Internet audience in the world. The study report released by Comscore Inc., measured internet population accessing web from a home or work location and excluding public computers such as Internet cafes or access from mobile phones or PDAs. In September 2009, China with 220.8 million internet population showed a 31 percent increase, making it the fastest-growing Internet country in the region. Japan 68.3 million online population showed 18 percent increase, and India with 35.8 million users online showed 17 percent increase from last year, however when it comes to figure its just around 5k users increment in Indian online audience. At the end of year 2008 when the number the number of broadband subscribers in India was 52.8 lakh and the ISPs providing broadband internet also growing Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released a consultation paper on "Bandwidth required for ISPs for better connectivity and improved quality of service" and this way will identify easily monitorable and enforceable quality of service (QoS) of ISPs, to ensure that a bare minimum (floor) bandwidth is available with service providers for their subscribers in India. TRAI has realized that India is growing as emerging countries for application that require higher bandwidth with speed and quality at high priority such as IPTV, P2P sharing, online videos, virtual tours along with e-marts and e-commerce related applications. As a matter of fact TRAI has revealed that subscribers in India alleged that Broadband connections is much less than subscribed speed. Earlier in year 2006 TRAI had define various parameters like packet loss, latency in the network, peak bandwidth utilization etc. and ISPs are supposed to monitor their network and take corrective measures/ action to maintain quality of service. Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has announced the rejuvenation work to be implemented till year 2009 and that would be taken as biggest expansion in last 40 years in Internet, since its inception. ICANN has approved some recommendations that bring out the more of internet for people to express themselves. Below are some recommendation; New strings in domains TLDs (Top Level Domains) from presently .com, .org or .edu etc. to any user choice such as .YourCompanyName or .music for music industry or .brandName for any company brand or even your name like www.website.ramanarayan. New scripts/ languages support for domains, URI to be written in and that would extended to world's languages which will important for future of internet in Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Russia. The Hint is that it can be written in these region's languages respectively, from presently 37 Roman characters only. Presently users have 21 Top Level Domains (TLDs) to chose from, soon after this expansion the users can have self chosen TLDs to name their domains, unless these TLDs are not offensive based on public morality and order.
