<p>Daper, the firm is making key investment in three Bangalore based internet startups/ site, these are &#8211; Reva (Electric Car Company), mCheck.com and Seventymm.com and other than that I found in its portfolio list (<a href="http://www.dfj.com/cgi-portfolio/artman/publish/index.html" target="_blank">on DFJ website</a>) is New Delhi based firm &#8211; Live Media. Draper will inlculcate 13 -15 startups in its India&#8217;s portfolio to fund.</p>
<p>Draper is well known for funding to Hotmail, Overture and Skype and all of these are now acquired by Microsoft, Yahoo and ebay respectively. The firm&#8217;s name Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) named after firm&#8217;s Managing Directors Timothy C. Draper, John H. N. Fisher and Steve Jurvetson. This is Draper&#8217;s third phase of funding, before it has invested in Rediff.com as well in form of portfolio investment (as Draper International) in 1996.</p>

Live Media is setting up a network of LCD TVs in various locations then serving content and advertising on these TVs. New Dehi based startup is targeting the hospitality, beauty, commercial building, and corporate sectors for putting up its screens and in terms of advertising the market includes lifestyle products and services targeted towards the upwordly mobile 19 – 45 age group. The website is under construction till date.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.mchek.com" target="_blank"><img title="mChek.com" src="http://www.indianweb2.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/mchek.png" border="0" alt="mChek.com" hspace="5" vspace="2" align="left" /></a><a href="http://www.mchek.com" target="_blank">mChek</a> provides an on-demand solution for mobile payments allowing to manage credit or debit cards with mobile phone and use them in a safe, smart and simple manner for over-the-counter and Internet purchases, and person-to-person payments using mobile phone as a unique token for two-factor authentication in convenient way.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.seventymm.com/" target="_blank"><img title="Seventymm.com" src="http://www.indianweb2.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/seventymm.png" border="0" alt="Seventymm.com" hspace="5" vspace="2" align="left" /></a>Seventymm Services Pvt. Ltd (<a href="http://www.seventymm.com">Seventymm.com</a>)is another to be funded by DFJ, it claim to be India&#8217;s largest online movie rental service, where members can have access to 15,000 movie titles in form DVDs/ VCDs in Hindi, English and other major Indian Spoken languages.</p>
