Chikka Inc., a company known for delivery of Mobile content and enhanced mobile messaging has brought a service to enable Asian users send two way messaging i.e. from their PC to mobile phones and vice versa. Users can register to avail services like - messaging to buddy/ friends list in their IM (messengers) like - Yahoo!, AIM, MSN, ICQ and the recent one is Google Talk.
A user can even send messages if they don't have a mobile phone or if their mobile operator is currently not available. People can make a unified Chikka ID to send messages to buddies list in their respective IMs as if they are sent through their mobile numbers, through Chikka ID you could also forward messages while away to your mobile phones.
In their future plans site will also allow the delivery of mobile content and mobile call credits which would be directly accessed from the web. Chikka 2.0 will also support social networking and user-generated content (UGC), to bring about web 2.0 traits in its services through which Users will be able to set-up personal profiles, upload photos and videos, or blog within their Chikka profile page.
